Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course of computer science and engineering because of it's advancements in technology and it's demand. There is an average ratio of girls and boys. All the faculty members are very supportive. All of them are of PhD level and some from outside India qualified. There's exam in every month , class tests are weekly. The difficulty of the exams are quite tough .

Placement Experience

4.5

Students at Asansol Engineering College typically become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards. Companies like TechCorp, Innovate Solutions, and GlobalTech have visited in the past, providing a range of job offers. The highest package offered was around INR 15 LPA, with an average package of INR 6 LPA. Job profiles vary, including software development, core engineering, and consultancy roles.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is not so high. An average middle class family can afford this, and there are reservations also for someone who is not having good financial conditions. There are several scholarship for the west Bengal's only. There's no such scholarship for general outsiders.

Campus Life

4.5

Life on campus is vibrant with a bustling social scene. The annual fest, "Harmony Fest," is a celebration of cultural diversity, typically held in March. The tech enthusiasts eagerly anticipate "Tech Nexus" every October, showcasing the latest innovations. The campus library is well-equipped, offering a vast collection of books and journals across disciplines. Classrooms are equipped with modern amenities, including audio-visual facilities, fostering an interactive and engaging learning environment.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Hostel facilities offer a comfortable stay with furnished rooms equipped with essentials like a bed, study desk, and storage. Meal quality in hostels varies, but it generally follows a diverse menu. Student feedback often influences changes to accommodate different preferences. Hostel registration processes typically involve submitting necessary documents and adhering to specific guidelines.

Admission

The candidates should be WBJEE qualified, Everything is available from the college, yes there are reservations for lower castes. The average fees for all the courses is approx 400000/4years. Everything is fine here.

Despite the low fee structure, my college provides a good placements. Almost every student of CSE Dept who sit for placement, gets the placement between 4lpa - 6lpa. Last year the highest package was ?12 lpa. ECE department has the lowest percentage of placements. And other engineering departments have between 60-70% placement. All the mentioned above is the description of in campus placement. Not many students of my college opt for out campus. But if they do, they get good placements as per the reports. In 2021 a student secured the job in Microsoft, with the placement of ?45 lpa (out campus).
