The course itself is a toned version of any other tech courses so obviously the curriculum would be easier compared to other courses such as CS majors, Btech, etc. But easier doesn't mean it's just anything. However you want to prepare yourself wholesomely depends on the individual. But in respect to other tech fields the curriculum definitely is an easy difficulty level in case of BCA. This course would prepare someone corporate ready with all the services and facilities which come along handy. But, preparing yourself for the higher studies or the technical placements would totally go to you as an individual. If I were to suggest some improvements I would say they should include up-to date techs so we don't have to learn them by ourselves. It would make sure the students are more industry ready by providing them with techs that are on demand in the industry.

I chose BCA on the basis of my grades in 12th. But throughout the course, I overcame all the weak areas especially the coding and DSA part under the teacher's guidance. Inspite of have four internals in a semester, we used to have class tests very frequently.

The course is good like they teach you out of the syllabus and you can gain good knowledge they teach properly but the only problem is they teach in bengali you need to know bengali to be attentive in class. If they stop teaching in bengali it will be a awesome college

I feel like our course is designed to strengthen our base of computer science and I enjoy learning more about each and every subject. Data Structure and DBMS is a very important part of recruitment and that part is covered well in this course.

BCA(Bachelor of Computer Application) is becoming a very popular course nowadays as it allows students from non-science backgrounds to get into IT Industry. For the college THA, the faculty is quite qualified and very helpful. They are very friendly and then make it possible for slow learners to grab the concepts easily and thoroughly. The internal and external exams used to be held properly on time.

In the Heritage Academy, B.C.A faculty is never the else good only. It has also teachers who are there in the university's main department. Lots of potential teachers are there. In terms of faculty-student, almost 6-8 teachers are allocated for a particular class. The faculty members are well qualified like masters and even PhD also. The exam pattern in Makaut University is there will be 4 CA's and 2 PCA i.e. practical examinations every semester.

Since my childhood, I have always been fascinated with computers. As I grew up I developed my interest in computer programming and I wanted to sharpen my skills and pursue a course that would suit best my interest hence BCA seemed the best option for me. The faculty: student ratio was 1:60, that is, a class of 60 students was taught by 1 teacher per subject. During major and minor projects it was 1:5, meaning a group of 5 people had one student guide. The faculty members are friendly and helpful and each has a unique teaching style that would make anyone grow interest quickly in the subjects. They are well knowledgeable about the subjects they teach and well qualified, mostly like m.tech and some have PhD degrees as well. Exams consist of 4 continuous assessments or CA that will be conducted every month according to the university guidelines. Semester exams were held every 6 months. Both CAs and Semester exams were moderately difficult.
