Life in Heritage

Likes

The campus is huge compared to most colleges
The canteen is pretty good and has a cafeteria too
The girl to boy ratio is 2:1 to be fair as our classes had more girls than boys

Dislikes

Most students get ragged in their first year by HIT seniors
If you don’t build rapport with teachers you will most likely be in trouble

Internships Opportunities:

Students from our batch got placed in E&Y and Amazon and few marketing companies. The stipend isn't much. You either join as a sales associate or a customer executive. The stipend varies from company to company. Like in Amazon as a customer executive you get paid 20000 per month.

The heritage academy review

Likes

Faculty members are very helpful and nice.
College is providing spacious rooms and enough equipments
Three canteens are there in the college .

Dislikes

No AC is available in few of the classroom

Internships Opportunities:

They provide good internships. Both paid and unpaid internships are provided as per student's skills and experience and also attendance is a very big factor.faculty members give ideas for start ups and new project.

The Heritage Academy - All you need to know

Likes

Very good faculty, they have very nice and engaging behaviour. Most of the faculty are very highly qualified
Lab equipments are very good and are adequate for any technical courses
Completely ragging free campus and students have a much more safer ecosystem here.

Dislikes

Very strict regarding thr attendance, should be some more reluctant.
Not focusing on co curricualar activities as much it should be
The college classes still don't have any Air conditioner

Internships Opportunities:

There are no such internship in the college where companies from outside will hire you and pay a stipend, but there are elearning institutions who provide us internships in exchange of a course fees. That company would make us expert at a topic and make us work for a project in very thorough manner.

I'm doing this for money

Likes

The Professors were friendly. Well, most of them were.
We had a newsroom and a PCR which is pretty nice.
Some professors are very helpful and you develop a connection with them.

Dislikes

The campus is big but there isn't really much to do there.
The college is in the middle of nowhere even though it's in Ruby.
The Dean was not very responsive to us most of the time.

Internships Opportunities:

We got random internship opportunities, mostly unpaid. Some got Eskay and Dentsu and Mirchi which was nice. There is no guarantee of placements or anything. You just kinda have to figure it out and stay on the prowl for things. Nothing is going to be handed to you.

Media Science at THA: Is it worth it?

Likes

Faculty is really good. Teachers are really knowledgeable and experienced. Some are highly qualified with degrees from reputed institutes. They are friendly as well and helpful.
Campus life is great as we have a huge campus with events happening every now and then. Some of them include AdAdda, Journoscope, HAFF.
Campus is neat and clean, and ragging free which makes the college environment great! Classrooms are well furnished, clean and we have maclabs, audio visual lab, news studio for practical learning as well.

Dislikes

Only few placement and internship opportunities were there.
The fees per semester is really high for the course

Internships were not directly given to us. We were added to a google classroom where we got job openings and internship opportuinites. Top recruiters include SVF, which came to the college to conduct a placement drive.

Heritage Academy Insights.

Likes

The faculty is helpful in a lot of ways and at times. They guide us perfectly.
The infrastructure is pretty good, good for engaging in sports.
It has different clubs for different activities.

Dislikes

75 percent Attendance is mandatory for everyone.
Classrooms get heated up during summers in the city.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement is offered but only a few get in which is very less. From 120 bba students only around 20 get placements which is not good compared to other colleges having BBA course. The placements can get better.

Honest review about my college

Likes

The campus life is top-notch. The whole campus is extremely large and gets you a breather. There were 3 affordable canteens during my time hopefully they are still there. The environment has been peaceful and overal the campus was great!
The teachers have been extremely approachable and always guided us through the smallest inconveniences. They are well versed in their fields and while there might be catnip overall the faculty was and still is helpful.
I have engaged alot in non-academic co curricular activities and that's the fetch here. They always keep us busy with different activities be it academic or non-academic. So the stress factor was always low while I was there.

Internships Opportunities:

The college sent us to a paid internship from their side. The internship revolved around full stack web development. I have learned my part from it but the only dissatisfaction was the "paid" part. We worked as a group of 5 6 people working in a full stack web application. We had to work on it ourselves and we did come across several industrial approaches.

Summing up my 3 year experience in The Heritage Academy.

Likes

The faculty members are nice mostly. They're nice behaviour wise.
College environment is good. Through out the college life there were no case of ragging. They sign an anti ragging after admission.

Dislikes

There is no air conditioning in classrooms. Its scorching hot and humid, all you do is sweat all the time.
Placement cell could have been better only one company (Ernest and Young) came up with a 5+ Lpa offer.
There were no college fest organised. Only the ones organised were of different colleges under the same Heritage group of institutions.

Placement Experience:

Campus Placements will start once you will reach the final year that is 3rd year 5th sem. The placement cell is not very good in this college. Companies like Amazon, Tcs, Ernest and young, Bjaj, Godrej, Karnataka Bank etc recruited students from BBA department. Other companies also showed interest and had various job roles but mostly for sales role. Tcs was the highest recruiter among all rest others companies only took a few students for their jobs. I'm still looking for jobs after completion of BBA.

Likes

Faculties are very helpful . They are well educated.
The campus is very beautiful. Canteen food is quite good
Placement is very good . Tcs,wipro , Deloitte are top recruiters

Dislikes

Proper drinking water facility is not available

This college offer paid internship from some companies like Ardent EuphoriaGenx and Globsyn etc, after complete 4th sem they provide this and you choose any one .In this internship there were live project which is helpful for your placement.

Likes

I like the campus size of the college like its really to good and the teaching is also good the teachers are frendly and are always ready to solve the problems of the students the canteens food is good the maintenance of the college is also good the
The teacher of the college is friendly and well behaved
They like to solve our problem and like taking up challenge

Dislikes

There is no ac and everyone has to sit in the library
Since no ac you feel very hot and irritated
There is no water cooler as well in the campus

Internships Opportunities:

The internship opportunities are good and the teachers inform us about the internship and help us to get selected in the internship and provide us with the idea as wat to do and what not to do and help us.
