Bijoy Krishna Girls College (BKGC), Howrah was established in the year 1947 with the mission of empowering girls through the expansion of knowledge. It is affiliated to the University of Calcutta. It has the approval of NCTE and achieved CPE status by UGC. Presently, it is running BA, B.Sc., and B.Com. at the UG level and MA, M.Sc.,M.Com. at the PG level. BKGC Howrah Admissions 2024
The selection of candidates for UG and PG courses will be on the basis of marks secured by them in the last qualifying exams. Admission to B.Ed. program is granted based on the total Grade Marks against marks secured in different qualifying examinations i.e. SSC, HSC, UG, PG, Ph.D./M.Phil.
How to apply?
- Go to the official website of the college and click on ‘Apply Online’.
- Fill up the form by entering the necessary information.
- After filling the form, application preview is displayed
- If a candidate is satisfied with the form click ‘Save’.
- Remember the unique Application ID.
- Proceed to the payment page and then click on SBI Collect.
- Pay fees of application either online or offline through SBI Collect.
- After successful payment, transaction id will be generated.
- Insert it and submit your application.
- After successful submission, take a print copy of your application form.

Bijoy Krishna Girls College does not offer PG Course in Biotechnology. The college offers only Geography Honors to the students.
