Environment of college is good. Senior are helpfull
Professor are highly educated and easily accessible to students
Location of my college is good because it is beside it hub of kolkata

Campus is is very small and there are only two field
Playground are very small and college doesn't provide any playing kit

In our college campus placement starts from 4th year. In my college cognizant,wipro, infosis, pwc any many other companys says. In my college 70-80 percentage of students gets placed. And some go for higher studies

Likes

Seniors are corporative and there is no ragging happens
Professors are very corporative , they have deep understanding of knowledge
Girls to boys ratio is also decent and good .

Dislikes

Campus area is very short, there is only 2 small ground only
Placement is very decent and companies do come but mass recruiters are more.
Hostels are also not there in campus, only department buildings are there.

Placement Experience:

To get elegible for placement, it starts form 7th semester . Companies like TCS , Wipro, Infosys etc comes in my college. Highest package was 14 lakhs and average package is 6 lakhs . I haven't decided what will I do after my graduation.

The thing that I liked the most is faculty here... I'm not gonna say all faculty are good .. but some of the teachers are just awesome and you'll love to have them as your teacher..
We have many events going on every 2-3 months where you can participate and play games or quizs and someone who is interested in drama or dance , arts or photography may join the contest and explore extracurricular activities...
The college is located in one of the best place of Kolkata that is sector V salt lake, so you should worry about your 4 years as the locality is very good have lot of parks and many good area to explore arround

Dislikes

The first and foremost thing I disliked was that our college doesn't have a hostel so a newcomer have to find a pg or hostel outside by themself... A clg without hostel life is just average and not great... So you'll miss some hostel experience.
The college is not like some IITs so the college area is just average and not like some big colleges this may disappoint some of you.. as you'll not have much area to explore inside of the college
The last thing that I disliked is for non-bengali students.. because here bangla is the most spoken language so as usual most of your classmates will be talking in Bengali and you won't understand a word and sometime even teacher switches to bangla..

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite decent (not really that great) Infact the number of placement is decreasing year after year... And even the average package is also just 5 LPA .. And not all the students get placed... So tbh it is also one of the con of the college.... As placement is mostly for cse students and other core branch doesn't have much placement....

Review of college from the 1st 6months experience

I like the college's location as it is based on the prime location of Kolkata and it is very easy to travel to college and then to Railway stations as it is very close to the Sector V metro station.
y college has very good and capable clubs which has many opportunities for us, they hold non-stop events one after another due to which we are engaged and are always learning something good
I also liked the helpful seniors in our college as they are very helpful and kind. some of them invited us by their own and shown us the whole campus the first day and are very friendly to us from them.

Dislikes

There are no hostel facilities available in the college and thus we have to live in nearby PG's and flats due to which we can't enjoy our Hostel life
The administration is not good and all the information is provided from the CRs of each class and sometimes they even fail to give us information on time
There is very small play ground in the college due to which we are'nt able to play there and thus we have to go to different playground to different places to play and practise sport.

Placement Experience:

As i am in 1st year i dont have enough accurate knowledge about the placements however as much as i have heard the placements are good/avg and many companies visit over here. The college is infront of Wipro main branch KOlKATA. As much as i have heard many students secured good on campus and off campus placements, one got placed at 23lpa from aiml.

Likes

There are many clubs in my college like IIC,SAMARTH,TECHNOTAKARSH.
The average package of my department is good.
My professors and lab assistant are good and their behaviour is good.

Dislikes

My college campus is too small. Library is not that much big.
There is no any boys and girls hostel in my college campus.
In my college classroom are not big and there are limited seats for students and there is no any AC and Smart board is my class

Placement Experience:

Placements of my college are good enough the average package is 6 lakhs and they also provide internship programs and the clubs in the college IIC and SAMARTH also provide internships. And college organisis many placements program.

TMSL is a good college but the placement and opportunities depend on ur individual calliber

Likes

Good management of students is doneee because this college has many students from different branches but in general no commotion or excess crowd happens
There is good amount of devices and equipments present in the college labs and many labs are present as a result of which everybody gets enough time to practice and excel in the practical experiments
The inside manufacture of the college is not bad not too much decorated though but definitely well maintained and the cleanliness is well appreciated

Dislikes

The looks of the college from outside is not actually good no proper paint is applied and is definitely not pretty or attractive as such
The faculty is definitely well qualified but a good proportion of them do not teach well. Definitely do not expect much from the faculty in labs they do teach well but when it comes to classes some don't put so much efforts

Placement Experience:

from 6th sem normally students become eligible for placements before that u can sit but u wont be able to apply. microsoft google intel infosys capzemini cognizant amazon etc. all may come but no gaurenteee. highest maybe above 20 lpa average package is 5-6lpa. nearly 85% eligible students get placed . my plans are for placement for job

Narula Institute Of Technology Review as a first year.

Likes

The college has a large campus including a poolside, a ground for all the fests,etc.
Clean campus and upgradation of college with time as I saw that the college has added automatic glass doors and a bouquet hall

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

Likes

The seniors were quite good & helpful especially for me
As a sportsperson i can say there are enough events for many types of sports especially cricket

Dislikes

The college doesn't have Ac and it's hard to get lift, you'll have to climb 4-5 floors for class
Most classes aren't good, the labs are fine but theory classes are bad

Placement Experience:

I've talked to seniors about placement and they seem to be quite satisfied with it as our average was 8-10 lpa with students even getting above 20lpa offers. Some also got placed from outside campus placement and they had even higher salaries

Everything is fine from college methodology to everything but the faculty doesn't finish the whole syllabus before the semester exam
Well i m a boy and i do have a good social life
College fest takes place but upto a limit

Dislikes

Few teachers don't finish the syllabus before exams
Library is small not much people can accomodate
Few elevators don't work i think that a negative point for this type of huge college

From 6th semester students do get PPO ( preplacememt offer) but for ppo u have to work really really hard but beside that u can get placement if u study seriously for 4 years. And the percentage of students getting placement is that i can say is 70 to 80% rest other 30% includes student who want to pursue MTECH or can go for business or goverment aspirants.

Most affordable private college of Kolkata.

Likes

Collage fees is decent when it comes to private colleges.
Cultural fest and extra curricular activities are priorized
Aluminia network is good, u can make connections.

Dislikes

The campus is small makes it challenging for sports
Placement rate is good but u have to attain over 9 gpa for next lv packages
Makaut university is very strict when it comes to academics

Course Curriculum Overview:

One exam at the end of semester makes it convenient form me to explore different clubs and to work on some skills. You can easily make a way out of it , if your preparation is decent. The frequency of exams makes it easy for you to work on your skills
