BHU B.A.M.S : Fees 2025, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers a supportive academic environment with a favorable student-to-faculty ratio, fostering strong faculty-student relationships. The faculty is dedicated to motivating and guiding students towards their goals. Exams are conducted on schedule and vary from moderate to challenging. BHU provides substantial internship opportunities, particularly in the medical field. Intern doctors at IMS BHU receive a stipend of 28,000 INR per month, which increases to about 1 lakh INR monthly for Junior Resident Doctors.

MBBS students benefit from internal reservation, ensuring their progression to postgraduate courses. Placement opportunities are robust at IIT BHU, with final year students securing minimum packages of 25 lakh INR annually. On-campus internships, especially at the hospital, offer a monthly stipend of 24,000 INR, considered the highest nationwide for the course. BAMS internships span one year, split between Ayurveda and modern hospitals, including a month in the emergency OPD. BHU's fee structure is affordable, with the first year costing Rs. 29,834 and subsequent years at Rs. 24,536.

Professional courses are priced at Rs. 33,000 for the first course and Rs. 27,000 for the second and third, each lasting 1.5 years.
