Banaras Hindu University (BHU) offers a supportive academic environment with a favorable student-to-faculty ratio, fostering strong faculty-student relationships. The faculty is dedicated to motivating and guiding students towards their goals. Exams are conducted on schedule and vary from moderate to challenging. BHU provides substantial internship opportunities, particularly in the medical field. Intern doctors at IMS BHU receive a stipend of 28,000 INR per month, which increases to about 1 lakh INR monthly for Junior Resident Doctors.

MBBS students benefit from internal reservation, ensuring their progression to postgraduate courses.
