Mahila Maha Vidyalaya (MMV) BHU also known as Women’s College was established in 1929. It was founded by Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya. It is a part of the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus and offers undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in different streams. The campus is spread over 1300 acres and is considered as a premier institution for the higher education of girls. Mahila Maha Vidyalaya is affiliated to Banaras Hindu University and is a government institution.

MMV BHU Admission

Mahila Maha Vidyalaya Bhu offers admission to undergraduate and postgraduate degrees based on the national-level entrance exams.Admission into the undergraduate programs is based on the scores obtained by the candidates in CUET UG. CUET PG scores are accepted for admission into the Postgraduate program. Candidates who qualify for the entrance exam and then called for the counseling process. In the counseling process, candidates are given admission into the specific course after meeting the cutoff and physical verification of documents.

• Candidates first need to register for the CUET examination.
• Candidates need to visit the official website of the National Testing Agency, https://cuet.nta.nic.in/
• After clicking on the 'Apply button, candidates need to choose the desired program.
• After choosing the course, fill out the Personal, Educational details along with your address.
• Candidates can choose the exam center and click on the declaration button.
• Candidates need to then upload a Photograph and signature.
• In the next option, applicants can select the university and course.
• Fee Payment can be done after clicking on the 'save' option using the accepted mode of payment gateway.
• Candidates then need to wait for the result.
• Candidates who qualify the entrance exam are further called for counseling.

• Central Instrument Laboratory: Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has established Central Instrument Laboratory(CIL) which has advanced instrumentation and modern equipment to help students in research purposes. CIL is developed especially for science stream departments and used by faculty members as well.
• Library: Mahila Maha Vidyalaya has extensive books which have 54062 books and 700+ journals. There are different genres of books such as Humanities, Fine Arts, History, Informatics and more.
• Medical Facility: The college highlights hospital and medical rooms in case of any health emergency for students.

• Blind students are provided with financial assistance of INR 5,000 per annum along with free food under Annadaan Yojana.
• Rank Holders get cash prices ( INR 5000 for the first position and INR 3000 for the second position).
• Students having poor backgrounds are provided with financial assistance of INR 2,000.
• Physical Handicapped Students are provided with a grant of INR 4,000 per annum.
• For organizing workshops and seminars, students can get single-time financial assistance of INR 5,000.
