Avadh Girls Degree College Admission 2024
- The admission at Avadh Girls Degree College Lucknow is strictly based on the merit obtained by the candidate in the previous education followed by counselling or interview. Based on the merit, a list of students is prepared which is available on the official website of the college.
- Eligibility for BA and B.Com courses is 10 + 2 passed from a recognized board while the same for MA course is BA passed from a recognized university.
- If the name of the candidate is on the list, then she is eligible for admission in the college. All original documents/certificates must be presented at the time of Counselling/interview.
How to Apply?
The application mode for admission is online. The candidates need to follow the given steps to proceed with the admission:
- Visit the official website of the college. Click on ‘online admission’ tab at the homepage
- Select the desired course from the list of UG and PG courses
- You will then be redirected to the registration page for new candidates. Enter personal details including valid mobile number and email id
- After registration, login to the student's portal by entering registration number, password and captcha correctly to pay the application fee online.
- Select the payment mode and click on the 'proceed to pay' button. After payment, a payment receipt will be displayed, which you should save for future reference
- Fill all the personal details, academic details and contact details in the space provided. Remember to save each section and then proceed to the next one
- Upload the required documents supporting education qualifications and other reservations, if applicable
- Finally, enter 'submit' to review the filled application form. Take a printout or save the application form. No need to send the copy to the college

Avadh Girls Degree College Scholarship
- Avadh Girls Degree College supports the education of girls coming from the economically weaker sections of the society by means of a tuition fee waiver or free books. This provision is made available to meritorious students of undergraduate courses.
- To avail the scholarship, the students are required to submit the application to the coordinator’s office by the end of August.
- There is a provision of Welfare Scholarship for students coming from SC, ST, OBC, General and Minority categories as well.
Avadh Girls Degree College Facilities
- National Service Scheme (NSS): NSS aims towards the personality development of the students by voluntary selfless service to society. There are three NSS units in the college. Membership for the same is voluntary. Members of this scheme who attend the Annual N.S.S. Camps are awarded certificates. Being a member of NSS is an advantage since percentage weightage in admission to courses like B.Ed etc is given to students who have been enrolled in NSS for two years and attended one year annual NSS camp.
- National Cadet Corps (NCC): The National Cadet Corps (NCC) provides opportunities to the youth for an all-round development with a sense of duty, commitment, dedication, discipline and moral values so that they may become able leaders and useful citizens. The NCC provides exposure to the cadets in a wide range of activities, with a distinct emphasis on social service, discipline and adventure training. The NCC is open to all regular students of the College on a voluntary basis. There are only 100 seats which shall be allotted on a first come first serve basis.
- Extracurricular Activities Clubs: The college encourages talents in students apart from academics. For this matter, there are various activity clubs to enhance the hobbies and hidden talents of the students.

- The staff is very nice teachers and the guards are the best.
- The teachers put real effort in making the child learn things and explain it.

- No placement opportunities. The college has not many placement options
- The infrastructure needs to improve its very old and needs improvment
Admission:
I applied for other colleges but my parents didnt allow me to move to another city. So i never went. The admission process for my college was easy as the staff was very helpful and they helped with understanding the admission process. I applied to shiv nadar university but because of my parents never tried looking for it.

- Avadh girl's degree college is good at activities and programs of college co curriculum. There are dance performance Western as well as classic. In singing also the performances are on fire. Students always ready to take part in all extra curricula
- Our college initiated computer courses of free certificate in basics in ms word, ms power point and basics of ms excel.
Dislikes
- The worst part is our college campus is very small only a small building is there in the middle of the college that's it and ret classes are held in rooms like classes which is furnitures are badly arranged.
- Only few faculties are there who teaches very well with deep concepts rest all are just do timepass and cover the syllabus as soon as possible. Teaching methods are very poor , they just read the concept didn't explain it .
Admission:
Avadh Girl's Degree College is an affiliated college of University of Lucknow which is an Government college. In our college only 3 courses are there -Bcom, B.A, and M.A. Where bcom is said to be private thats why they charge 22000/- fees pr year where as B.A. fees is 5000/- per year. The Admissions are based on just oral counseling and 12th marks. College should conduct units test to knw the clearity of students in every subjects and on which they need to focus more.

- It is situated on the main road near akhilesh yadav house ( leader of samajwadi party ). It is situated in a peaceful area so there will be no sound of vehicles and infrastructure cabln be improved.
- Daily classes are conducted and seminars also
Dislikes
- Infrastructure and food of canteen can be improved
- Placement cell should work more efficiently
Admission:
B com can be pursued after 12th. Candidate must have good percentage to secure place in for admission. Admission is held on merit basis. Form is in range between 300 to 500rs. interview is held before final selection. The seats for st sc and obc are available as per the government rules. The examination to be held semester wise the paper level is moderate. I think admission must held by exam not in merit basis and scholarship facilities should be available to general students also.

The application forms are available online in college website. There will bi no entrance exam or viva taken. Cut-off based admission has taken in the college. Reservation available for the OBC and SC/ST criteria

- My college is basically good for who is persuing ba, ma not that good for bcom as we don't get opportunities which other college provides
- Campus Life it is okay okay as the the condition of college is not good washroom are worst no facility

Yes I have given a interview during my admission.I had a great experience as I was asked the question which was in my 12th course.I have filled offline admission form and was charged 700rupees. According to New education policy my course bcom is now of 4year which is optional

I want one improvement in this college they dont provide scholarships actually the provide facility of scholarship but when student apply for it the staff dont transfer the form in government office that's why the students did not get the benefits of scholarship so if it can improve then it is a very good and friendy college all the students are very friendly and the environment is good

Eligibility: Above 75% marks in 12th The details regarding application forms were found on the official website as well as on the college campus. The details regarding application fees were on the site on the internet where the forms were getting filled and as well as on the college campus. Application dates were also provided on the official site of the college. Reservation. SC/ST: 50%marks in 12th OBC: 60% marks in 12th Improvement: The college can keep a better personal interview or group discussion session as the admission is done on the basis of merit, so they can opt for a better personal interview or group discussion where more questions must be asked from the students.
Admission:
I applied in 2 colleges, Avadh girls degree college and Isabella Thoburn. I got selected in both but i opt for Avadh girls as I had heard about their clubs! College has different clubs and activities include NATIONAL CADET CORPS (NCC). I took admission as firstly I fill the form from their website then i got a call from them to attend the interview. I attended the interview and got selected, I paid my fees and got admission. The eligibility for applying in bcom is MINIMUM 60% IN CLASS 12TH. This was all the experience! I got admission easily as my percentage is good and in counselling(interview) I gave mostly all the answers. Thank you.
