BHU MBA Admission 2026 Begins; Apply by January 31 @bhumbaadm.samarth.edu.in

Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has begun the registration process for its Master of Business Administration (MBA) and MBA - International Business (MBA-IB) programs for the 2026-2028 academic batch.

Candidates must complete their applications by the extended deadline of January 31, 2026. Applicants are required to pay the processing fee through the BHU SAMARTH portal.

For candidates belonging to the General, OBC, or EWS categories, the fee is Rs. 2,000. Candidates from the SC and ST categories are eligible for a reduced fee of Rs. 1,000. All payments must be completed online to finalize the application.

Post-Graduate Courses Offered

The Institute of Management Studies, BHU, offers two-year, four-semester programs:

• MBA: 59 seats.
• MBA-IB: 59 seats.
• Specializations: Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance, Operations Management, and Information Technology.

BHU MBA Admission 2026 Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: A graduate degree under the 10+2+3 pattern, or a degree in Engineering, Technology, Agriculture, Medicine, Education, Law, or a Post-graduate degree in any discipline.
• Minimum Marks: At least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination (45% for SC/ST candidates).
• Mandatory Requirement: Candidates must have appeared for the CAT 2025 examination.

BHU MBA Admission 2026 Selection Process

Admission is based on a combined merit score consisting of:

• CAT 2025 Score: 50% weightage.
• Academic Records: 20% weightage.
• Group Discussion (GD): 15% weightage.
• Personal Interview (PI): 15% weightage.
