Ans. The campus is equipped with a Hostel that is capable of housing the students at MGCU.

Ans. There is no bus facility, but the campus is situated in very close proximity to a railway station as well as the National Highway.

Ques. What is the required Entrance for a B.Tech course?

Ans. Admission to the B.Tech course is conducted on the basis of the candidate's score in the CUCET. However, candidates with valid marks in JEE Mains will be preferred for the admissions.

Likes

The thing which i like most about the college is academics of our college.
I am enjoying the campus life and if we talk about the social interaction here,everyone support each other and seniors are just like elder brother.
The placement shell has started and it will improve in the upcoming years and with the skill development students are getting good placement.

Dislikes

The thing which i dislike is that there is lack of faculty.
The main building campus is in construction and will be completed in upcoming years which we are missing the big campus life.
The placement shell is growing up thats why not everyone is getting placed in best .

Students view on course curriculum

The main aspects of the curriculum that influenced me to join Mahatma Gandhi Central University is the its academics is on the basis of GATE curriculum. The faculty focus on the technical aspects for the industry purpose. Almost at the end of every month there is exam or class test which is conducted.

Internship opportunity in various organization provided by the college

Usually students can easily avail themselves towards internship. Companies like as oswaal,Microsoft etc provides internship. Students gets both technical or non technical project and they get certificates and sometimes cash rewards also.

Various companies recruiting from the campus , average and highest package being offered

Students of our college generally get off campus and in campus placements.Copanies like wipro,infosys,amazon usually comes for placement.The highest package is of 3400000 and the average package is of 700000.Almost all the students gets placed or Generally students clears GATE examination from there.

Fees of the course per semester

As on the time of admission i had paid 25218 for the first semester and for the second semester our fees is approx 21000.so we can say that our one year fees is approx 45000.And for the whole course our fees will be approx 170000.And the fees structure of our batcmates is also the same as ours.Scholarships opportunity tends come at regular interval and students can easily access to these.

Students view on campus life

Cultural University used to happen at a regular interval whenever festive season comes.There are lot of books in the library and everyone can easily these books by making there library pass.There are usually smart boards in the classrooms and there are various labs.Usually umag happens for each year which is a sports tournament.There is no clubs at that time but will be establish soon.

Facilities provided in the college hostel

There is a lot of facility like as study table and room and there is locker also.In the hostel there is free wifi , purified water .Generally there comes a hostel form which on have to fill .If you want to rent a room or pg there is lots of options available for this.

Students view on faculties

Our faculty is to student ratio is 1:4 and the faculty is friendly and supportive.My favourite faculty is Smriti Mam because she taight us from scratch to advance.There is four exams in a semester and the difficulty level is normal for all exams and all study clear that exams.Our course curriculum involes the units related to GATE examination.

How to get admission in the college and what sets the college stand out ?

I have also applied in DU and i got BSC(Mathematics) there but i want to pursue B.tech and was unable to clear the the cutoff for the B.tech in DU thats why i dont get there and i was getting that one that's why i choose this one.For getting Admission in Mahatma Gandhi Central University once have to give cuet examination with pcm and have to clear the cutoff marks in the counseling.

Night Life

There is a open gym in the college campus and library is there also .There is no college hostels for boys,but there is girls hostel which is provided by college.Genrally there is different timings for classes for each semester. There is college canteen also.

I applied in central university of south Bihar. I also get selected there. But due to time issue because first I came to Motihari and I settled here so I decided to live here and I leave that college don't went there.

I am enjoying the campus life and if we talk about the social interaction here,everyone support each other and seniors are just like elder brother.

Dislikes

The main building campus is in construction and will be completed in upcoming years which we are missing the big campus life.

MGCU is quite a good college were i have many friends and the seniors and faculty are friendly in nature.

Likes

The ratio of passing the GATE Exam here is quite high as compared to other colleges.
The Seniors are quite friendly and frank.
The ratio of girls to boys is around 07:29.

Dislikes

The campus is small and classes are not fixed.
Here the sports facilities are also quite lacking.

Admission:

I got admitted in the college based on CUET Score and college cut off. Here the academic facilites or passing the GATE Exam is quite higher than the other colleges in which I can get admission based on my score.

I had applied to Baba Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University but the fees were very high or even the course in computer science was not available even though the fees of this university were less or the course was also the best.I did not get rejection from any college.Admission in college was given by cut off of cut off exam.The eligibility for admission in college should be 12th pass and CUET exam.And cut off for admission is 292 out of 600.

The facilities are best in university the teachers are well behaved and skilled
The campus is under-construction but the temporary campus is also awesome

Dislikes

Campus is also temporary so you can't walk as freely you expect
Sports facilities are also not so good as we expect
Lab are not prorper as we expect but still good

I also applied in uptac and I got admission in rajkiya engineering college mainpuri but I choose this because it is a central university and the campus, placement and other things is better than that college

One problem is only their the water shortage.

I applied only in this university . Admission done in this university is by CUET EXAM and by Paid seat also . As university adopted NEP the all the patterns are change and university also done their work very well in field of education the eligibility for the admission is 75% marks in 12th board from any stream and board. Exam accepted by this course is CUET. the subject that preferred in this course is General Test.

We don't have permanent big campus but university try everything for student comfort proving bus service for library and other campus helps alot of student including me

Engagement in campus is still verry less there no kind of sports activity happening as we expect from a central university
I feel that my university need to progress more in making campus more and add more departments to it as only CS could not perform all task we need chemistry lab engineering lab s for btech studeent

I registered in uptac and iser but there were very few option for course or brach and were which I was not expecting .so ichoose this university which is CS as it's branch which I wanted and being in central university is also privilege for me. Eligibility is cuet and it also have decent cutoff of 400 of pcm for general

Admissions are entrance based at MGCU. Applications are accepted online commonly while applying for CUCET. Other details have been given below:

For all UG courses admission, students must qualify 10+2 exams in relevant streams and have a valid score in CUCET.
M.Tech admission is based on marks obtained in graduation and valid score in GATE or UGC-NET or SET or JEST.
M.Phil+Ph.D. admissions are based on scores in the previous qualifying exam. Scores in UGC-NET or JRF or CUCET are accepted for direct shortlisting for interview.
Courses like MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MSW, MJMC and MBA accept scores in CUET only and scores obtained in the previous qualifying examination.
