overcrowded you have to wait for lifts every time and also in tunnels
hostel intime is 9pm if you donnot come by 9pm you will be fined

placements are very competitve although all big companies visit our college but because of very huge strength mostly people get placed in mass recruiter but if you can hustle you will definitly get placed in very good companies so this year microsoft took 12 google took 10 zomato took 2 adobe took 5 service now took 11 linked in took 1 amazon took 21 pay pal took 9 wells fargo took 35 walmart took 14 jp morgan took 48 black rock took 85 and list goes on total 338 companies have participated till now and most importanly tcs took 2010 students at 3.3 lpa
Faculty here are very experienced out of which some of them are graduated from IITs. They are very supportive to students and well guiding.
Exams here are not so difficult at the same time not so easy unless you study time to time.
Campus is very big, scaling to 372 acres , having many academic buildings. The boys to girls ratio would be around 2:1

VIT is very crowded having a population of Forty thousand student in Vellore campus alone
There is no Night life in VIT as there is a strict rule for students to return to their hostels before 9pm after which the doors of the hostel will be closed`
Due to overcrowding, Internet here is not so good.
Placement Experience:
The placments in our collage starts from 6 semeste itself
VIT provides a large number of oppurtunities for studnets to choose like giving internships and also in the year 2024 around 837 companies visited my collage for campus placement and and the highest package offered in the year 2024 was 1Cr per anum.
The percentage of studnets getting placed will also be very high .

Course Curriculum Overview:
We have 3 exams. First one CAT1 it's an internal exam. Next comes CaT2 it's an open book exam. FAT is the final semester exam. Along with these exams per semester we have to submit 6 digit assignments each containing 10 marks
The infrastructure of the university gives you a perfect learning environment
The faculties are highly qualified to train the students
The library is the best part out of the university

Too many rules and regulations to be followed
Arrear fees is 6000 per subject which is too much

The exams are pretty hectic along with Digital Assignments we have to submit every now and then. Each assignment contains 10 marks so we have to be super punctual about it's submission or else we will end up loosing 10 marks

I would rate the course curriculum high fairly and relevant comprehensive. Hands on learning through labs, workshops and projects. The curriculum includes workshops, nptel courses, projects and seminars

We do have placements, we have about 40k student here. Thos year about 10k offers were received from companies. Two people got a salary of 1 crore per annum. So if solely depens on the particular student.
VIT has connections with a lot of industries. It's very easy to network since professors recommend the people you connect with
The campus is huge (vellore campus). The more you go around campus the bigger it gets. The infrastructure and maintance of labs is also top-notch
Seniors are very friendly and are always willing to guide you incase you need any help

VIT has a huge intake every year. So it feels very crowded a lot of the time
The hostel management is a little strict with boys but very strict with girls

The placements of VIT are pretty decent, keeping in mind the huge intake it has. Major companies from all fields come to VIT to recruit engineers. The current placement round is still going on, but from rumours the highest package has gone for around 1 crore.
Students can apply for a job from the 8th semester. The 7th semester is gone into a compulsory internship.
I have a particular interest in research, so my plans after getting my degree would be to attempt to pursue a master's degree abroad or give GATE.

There are nearly 150 companies that visit our campus for placements like TCS, Infosis, Wipro, Google, Amazon etc. The highest package is 1 crore and the company that provides highest offers is TCS.
