- One of my senior got placed in Couch Base for 34LPA CTC another got placed in Unilever for 42LPA but this was for CSE and related branches while few of my seniors got decent package from mechanical branch too 8-12L in companies like Mercedes a Euler ~ Anonymous, B.Tech
- FFCS. A study who is facing difficulty to study more, can take less number of credits and it will reduce the burden of the students. And the student can also Complete the entire course in 4 years instead of 5years by taking maximum no of credits. ~ Supriya R Patil, B.Sc + M.Sc
- Campus Life in Vit is simply magnificent.All types of facilities are provided inside the campus including sport complex and restaurants.The girls to boys ratio in Mechanical engineering is surprisinly high of about 1:7. ~ Mithilesh Angal, B.Tech

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40 ~ Praveen Kumar, BCA
- Lot of exams yearly 3 exams in a semester 2-3 quiz and 1-2 DA ~ Kartik Navnath Narare, B.Tech

- campus is really good it feels like home with greenary and less heat than surrounding environment
- hostel rooms and mess are good as well for the price they provide

- The ratio is not quite good but still it works
- There are bit restrictions for outings and gate timings
- More strict than other college with some extra burden but beneficial for student

Placements are good as considering the recent recession the college still kept the numbers high for the placements as the recent placement were quite good for cse and other related branches as again it depends on the overall candidate but due to more crowd the competition is high so one has to keep himself at the apex of the pyramid to get good placments

- I have liked alot of things mainly the cultural diversity here is too good and also verydents esrossall over India come here therefore there will be an exposure to many cultures and one can learn other language also they can experience every culture
- I have also liked the infrastructure here the classes the labs the hostels and the sports complexes.labs here are equipped with high and efficient machines ensuring the student a quality learning and also the food here is very tasty and also
- I have also liked the academics here the proffesors here are very intelligent they have pursued their pgs and researched in many things
Dislikes
- The first thing I disliked in vit is the crowd I mean the intake here is too high
- And also the fee is a bit too high to afford for middle class students.
- And also the management here is not that good as they introduced a new system in which one can select their hostels based on their cgpa which isn't good for all
Placement Experience:
I'm currently in my second semester the students are eligible to sit for the campus placements from their 8th semester.almost 900 companies have visited the campus last year and the highest package offered is near 1.2crore for two students and many top companies like Google microsoft and apple will come to campus placements in vit

- Festival preparations and take initiative for students to participate in any one department
- It is good because there will bus to travel
- Education is better than any other campus as i know personaly
Dislikes
- Means here north indian strength is more
- Here cigrate culture is more at outside of campus
- There will unessary metting and subjects like ethics
Placement Experience:
Definitely there will be job opportunity for every one because of TCS company will take all remaining students and give training to them for 2 years and then it only assure them to work in their company

- infrastructure and maintainance of university.
- FFCS ( fully flexible credential system) is provided by university.
- teachers are friendly and we can chose faculty.
Dislikes
- university is over crowded and hostels are little expensive
Placement Experience:
as i am fresher i am un aware of placements but overall i heard from my seniors that average package of cse is more than 10lpa which is sufficient for basic needs . Vit also provides internship facilities better than other colleges.

- FFCS(Fully flexible credit system) is available here.
- Veg Mess (PR CATERS) is providing better food with salads and good quality food.
- No uniform in this university which makes feel free for students.
Dislikes
- Non A/C blocks are not good as expected.
- Distance from hostel to academic blocks is a bit far.
- Cant survive here in summers without ac in class rooms.
Placement Experience:
Placements of our college is good that it has an average package of 10-12 LPA.students from 3rd year second semester are eligible for placements. Google ,Accenture and MOTORQ and some other companies visited our college. MOTORQ is providing highest package of 1Cr PA.

- I actually liked the lush green campus of my college.
- I like this college as, it is the safest college I have known so far for the girls.
- I liked the FFCS conducted in this college which give you the freedom to choose any faculty that you want.
Dislikes
- This college is so strict, especially for girls, which makes it sometimes very irritating as the rules are so strict and rigid.
- As a north Indian, I find it somewhat difficulty in finding north Indian food as the mess menu has very less north Indian dishes.
- They do not allow to keep hairdryer, kettle etc. , which I find it very irritating.

Placement Experience:
Placements in this college is pretty good. Here, the companies coming in this college for placements are TCS, Wipro, Microsoft, etc. which is called superdream offers in this college. You have to get 8.5+ GPA in your internals to get the oppportunity to sit in placements of superdream offers. Average placement in this college is around 10LPA. and highest is around 1 Crore. I am planning to get job in superdream companies.

- I like the count of placement offers we get , because arround 900 companies come to our clg every year and every student can get arround 200 oppertunities to prove them
- College infrastructure, we have lake in campus and the campus is spreaded over 300 accres
- No dress code like uniform, students can wear casuals like tee shirts,baggy outfits and other Street wear as well
Dislikes
- Rules are very struct ,once u found doing anything wrong you will be punished very sivere
- Outing time for both girls in weekdays is only 2 hours
- Strength in the entire college will be arround 30k
Course Curriculum Overview:
IN vit grading system is absolute grading ,your marks are compared with class avarage and get the grade for you ,i suggest to maintain 8.5+ cgpa to get good and more placement opportunities,there will be no attendance restriction for 9 pointers ,so if you are a 9 pointers u can have alot of time for coding and making projects

- The college atmosphere is very nice and the campus is very big
- There are educated and the experienced teachers .
- We can make many friends from different places
Dislikes
- I didn't liked the mess menu in the hostel
- There are some communication problems with the security and some staff
- The campus is very long to walk from clg block to hostel block

From 6th semester the placement training will start for the students and they can attend the placements after that training means in 7 th semester.The placements are also good in the campus.last year the highest pakage is nearly 80,00,000..

- The premises are very well maintained and beautiful. Almost all types of facilities are available in college including gym, banks, hospital and sports facilities
- If you are a decent student in studies you can get a good job offer as more than 100 companies visit VIT during placement season.
- The faculty are very supportive. They solve academics related problems as well as personal problems.
Dislikes
- VIT is a very crowded. Average strength of a class is 60 and there are more than 2000 students in Computer science.
- College rules are very strict related to dressing and outing.
- Students have to pay for the annual fest of VIT 'Riviera' but that fest is worth money

Campus placements are descent if you're a moderate in studies. VIT provide tonn of opportunities to students who are willing to study further. Also they provide internship to students who had a a CGPA above 8

- People here are more comfortable and just easy to approach
- Lab facilities and the teaching is good in vit
Dislikes
- Attendance issues is the major problem here
- Hostel outing is strictly followed and noticed
- The event fees is so expensive and less num tickets available

I chose pure science in my class 11 and wrote the entrance exam and passed it and no other choice i have only choose biotech , without maths engineering is so horrible and we have exams every 2 months that is cat and and after ,6 months we fat exam
