Likes
- I like the coding culture that is in my college is excellent.
- Placement oppurtunity given by vit is very good where every student is guarenteed to get atleast one job in hand when leaving the campus.
Dislikes
- The worst thing are the PDA guards a guy and girl can't walk sit together according to the college too conservative.
- Worst part is we have to change class for every for every period like 45minutes

- Firstly I like the campus’s architecture and all the hangout spots inside vit
- Second I like how students from different parts of the world socialise and interact and engage so vibrantly.

- I don’t like how the student and faculty ratio is 60-40
- I also feel that since 30000 plus students study here , individuality is less.
Placement Experience:
VIT has a good record of placements through out the years. With the CSE program seeing over 90 percentage placements. In 2023 the highest package was 1.02 crore and the average was 9.30 LPA. Also around 70 percent of them secure internships with roles like software engineering.
Likes
- The first thing that impressed me in my college is the campus and its environment. VIT had one of the best campus atmosphere with many really good architecture and vibrant facilities.
- The second thing is the the amount of clubs and chapters available for students to participate. The college always looks so engaging so that every student can show their own talent and excel in it.
Dislikes
- The amount of students in the university still scares me , there are 30000 plus students studying in vit vellore alone which I feel will make the hidden talents of many stay hidden.
- The faculty and student ratio also is bad. Which leads to larger class sizes which again affect the personalised attention to each and every student.
Placement Experience:
VIT is known for its placements. More than 500+ companies come for placements like Amazon, Accenture , TCS and more year with lakhs and lakhs of students being employed. Mid way through a student's 7th(4 year program) or 5th (3 year program) or 9th ( integrated program) they become eligible. The eligibility criteria is simple , a student need to have 60% both in 11th and 12th, no backlogs or 1 backlog (differs to companies) while sitting for the placements. For BCA the highest salary offered is 12 LPA and min is 6LPA. The package differes for the departments. The average is 10-11 LPA. Every year the placed students percentage increases and differes. The average is 60%. Many students continue to study masters either in vit itself or abroad too. I am planning to studying post graduate too.

After third year the students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package of this college was 59,00,000 per annum and the average package is 12,00,000 per annum. 90 percent of students get placed from this college

- Study culture:Every student is studying something and they're keeping themselves busy in studies while also doing other curriculum activities
- Good and friendly seniors:Seniors are mostly very supporting and helpful which is very rare

- Hostle management:Some unnecessary rules are there but the strictness is maintained but there are many unnecessary rules
- Distance between hostel and main college building:The distance between main college building and hostel is very far it is almost 2 km so going to do class and coming back is very tiring and frustrating
Course Curriculum Overview:
I liked programming so this course is helping me to develop my programming skills well not only in one programming language but in other programming language too. The areas for improvements as of me is that they should introduce subjects which are only related to that course that will help the students to be more and more invested

- There are many clubs and chapters in VIT where you will get chance to take part them and also increase your i=network which will definitely help you in future
- Talking about academics , so you will get lot of chance if you are interested in research ,you will get funds from VIT.
Dislikes
- There are many exams happening in VIT so you will get less time to focus on extra things like development , or any field whom you are interested and want to do.
- There are many restrictions in VIT like you have to come before 7 pm in VIT if you are girl and has to enter before 9 pm if you are a boy.
Placement Experience:
I got graduted this year i.e 2024 and this year very less company visited as comapre to previous years and they are selecting based upon cgpa so you have a cgpa above 8.5 anyhow if you are aiming for placement ctc above 10 and in best case above 9 where you will get chance to sit for every company.

- The first thing I liked is the syllabus of the course which is easy to study. And the syllabus is very relevant for the future
- The second thing is the infrastructure of the college they provide variety of amenities like free wifi they also provide laptop for students via scholarship
Dislikes
- Things I disliked is the hostel food Some of the students doesn't like the hostel food but for me it is ok
- The second thing is most of the building in the campus are bit older.
Placement Experience:
Placement on the college seems very very good lots of students from my class get placement Well reputed companies are coming for placement with a nice package Google Microsoft Infosys ust global are the main companies coming to our college and also they offer a good package Sixty percentage of the students from my class got placement My plans after the degree is I had still some backpapers I want to clear that and go for the masters

- campus has lush-green environment and it has very much peaceful and much less disturbance compared to urban areas. campus is good and hostel are too good along with 24/7 security and cold and hot water supply.
- infrastructure is excellent and faculty are very much experienced as they are IITIAN'S they are calm and supportive. the canteen is very nice and you can enjoy every type of meal and it is pocket friendly.
Dislikes
- most of the things i liked and are matching my expectations but mess food is somewhat messy.
- as the campus is in remote area the weather condition is unpredictable which makes you sometimes tired .
Placement Experience:
till now 90% students are placed.' some students also recieved super dream company like amazon.google,microsoft,etc. companies visited my collage were amazon,google,nvidia,microsoft,lloyd,TCS,shell,etc form 4 semester students are eligible for off campus and on campus placements.

- Nice canteen and foid for students in the college

- The distance between hostel and collage is far
- Not a good city near from the collage ..
Course Curriculum Overview:
Actually the core side to Ganesha very big but without with the faculty self I think it's a short and easy thing that I can learn and development skills more to get my placement and activate job I think my choice is correct

- Academic block is really good and amazing
- Infrastructure is so good and awesome for students

- Academic block is really far from hostel
- All buildings havent been fully built yet
Placement Experience:
4th year you will get placements and internships like that also you have IV intensive 3rd year so many companies including Microsoft Apple Wipro et cetera had came in our college average percentage of students this year is low compared to last and previous years first because of American stuff and election including that plans after degree is getting a job or apply for outside campus

- Outings are very less compared to other colleges
- Vacations are too short to go to hometown
Course Curriculum Overview:
I think the course curriculum is very relevant. Calculus is very relevant CSE is very good. the way teachers teach is so influential. they teach very good so that we will get interest in that particular subject.
