Campus Life of a student in VIT

The course I selected in VIT is B.com which is specialised in Business process service. VIT haa tie-up with TCS for this department students. We have 3 exams per semester i.e.CAT-1&2 (Continuous assessment test) & FAT (Final assessment test ) CAT exam is about 50marks time allotted is 1.5 hours. FAT Exam is for 100 marks time allotted is 3 hours CAT 2 Is open Book exams

Doing Internship is mandatory for all students. VIT provides opportunities for completing Internship by sending emails about the internship programs and companies who offers internship opportunities for students, intemship con be completed in summer holidays. I'm doing my internship in marketing managemant from Launched Global its a 2 month internship, they provide a course completion certificate with letter of recommendation.

Campus placement is good in VIT we have some sessions in which speakers are invited to deliver a lecture about how to get placed. Highest package in b.com was 15 lakhs and average package is 8lakhs lakhs. my plans after graduation is to do a professional course and continue my journey.

My first year tution fees was 1,01,500 in which I had to pay 34,500 as advance payment and later I paid 67,000. My second year tution fees was 65,000. We have to pay our tution fees yearly. There's no half payment allowed in VIT 1 Year full payment should be done before year starts. After a year tution fees reduces

Campus life in VII is the best experience which you can get in your life. VIT's two biggest fest is Gravitas which is conducted in the month of september or october & Riviera which is conducted in the month of february every year Gravitas is a technical event which helps engineering students to grow & enhance their skills. Riviera is a cultural event in which celebrities are invited to perform in VIT. both of these festival are full of entertainment, connecting with peoples, making new friends network building etc. VII provides you a chance to continue your sports journey with academics. We have varieties of clubs & chapters based on art & cultures, technical, social outreach, health & wellness, Literature, clubs are run by VIT students which provides them a practical knowledge about mangement. Events are organized by students. We can find yorities of books in library. Library books con be borrowed for 2 weeks and if it is not returned on due date then students have to pay fine.

The only college i applied was VIT .i applied in DKM college just as an Last option. I was not rejected from another college as I didn't applied for any college. Admission process in Vit is a bit lengthy as loths of students apply in here soluctat com course in vit so there's no entranow exam selection will be based on 12th marks so no need to worry about entrance exam preparation, Admissions entire process is criing so it is easy for everyone. it requires some medical certificate and oil To sacure your sect in VIT your rank should coma within 200.000 Hore. The factors tich made me choice this college is Placement of Vii andamang inhostructure, there's lots of clubs and chapters averkable in vir which helps to hcrease our alis, communication skills management skills and alt vit gives us once to explore ourselves.

VIT provides 2 undergraduate courses ig B.com & BBA 1 post graduate degree i.e. MBA. We have 4 branches in B Comie B.Com (general), (business process services),(Financial technology),(banking & capital market) the faculties in VIT are mostly Doctrate mostly faculties are friendly in nature, we have 2 digital assignments & 1 quiz every semester. 1 semester contains of 3 exams jg CAT-1 (Continuous assessment test) CAT-2 & FAT(Final assessment TesSemester names are based on seasons like Fall semester & winter semester. CAT-1 is easy as it is conducted in early of semester, CAT-2 is a bit difficult as it is open book exam questions are twisted and asked, FAT exam is somewhat difficults we have to write 6 months syllabus. CAT exams are of 50marks time gilloted is 1.5hr. FAT exam is of 100 marks & time allotment is 3hours.

As I selected b.com course there was no admission test or interview. My selection was based on 12th marksheet. So i would advise to score more marks in 12th to confirm your seat in VIT. we have 1 week of induction program prior to classes in which VIT rules and regulations are teached to everyone.

We have separate gym for mens & women's. Cafeteria can be found near to every building. My favourite place in VIT is foodys aa it connects me with my other department friends., it is a place where we all can sit together & have chit chat. The next favourite place is kalpana chawla lawn where I used to hangout with my friends it's a beautiful lawn filled with greeneries. MGB block is the most beautiful block in whole VIT. Sometimes campus timings irritates me as it doesn't have proper morning & afternoon slots. Night slips is allowed for students to stay in campus till 1am and have Fun. Mostly night slips are allowed for doing club related works.
