Course Curriculum Overview

Based on industrial requirements, I am doing CSE. I feel curriculum is not good. Because it doesn't match industrial requirements. They have to rela world experience by giving different projects in the each course.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 195000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I am paying 1,95,000 rupees per year. The caution fee is 15k rupees. There is no other fees. The other categories fees are 3 lakhs, 4 lakhs and 5 lakhs per year. There is scholarships for eapcet students.

Campus Life

The fests happens in our college is vitopia. It happens in February month. There are very less books available in Library. There is no wifi in the classrooms. Sports events are conducted frequently. Many clubs are their and they run very well.

Admission

I applied for srm and amrutha. I got admission at SRM ap university. I got rejection from amrutha university. There is viteee exam and we have to achieve good rank in that exam. So that we can get admission with less fee.

Faculty

In the college faculty and students relationship is good. They will interact with students and clear the doubts. I like raja shekhar sir. Because it treats me very special. I don't like pulipati sir. He doesn't know the subject. There are 6 subjects per sem.

Interview Experience

I faced interview during my college placements. I wrote the test and qualified and entered into interview. We can get into this by writing viteee exam. Our college provides CDC portal for practicing. And I got the job.

Night Life

There is gym in every hostel block. Two cafeterias in the college. There is library and public area. Hostel timings are 6am to 8pm. College timings are 9am to 7pm. We can hangout at food Street and rock plaza.

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Honest internship

Placement Experience:

According to my college official website, so far in this year, the students here have got over 3000 placements by March and the number keeps growing. They don't specifically share the exact amount the students are placed for but the highest this year so far is 43.5 LPA. And this has been consistent over last few years.

The placements in my college are moderate but improving each year. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

All about VIT

I got good percentile in JEE so i was getting admission in few mid ranked and top NITs, but there was no CSE branch available in any top NIT and I specifically wanted CSE branch soo I applied for other entrances exams for SRM,Amrita,VIT and Manipal but out of all I preffered VIT because it has a good package and better NIRF ranking than even many NITs, also after bachelors I want to do masters from abroad and VIT has best reputation for CSE abroad when it comes to CSE.VIT accepts admission through VITEEE exam which asks questions from class 12th PCM, English and General aptitude...Read More
