Course Curriculum Overview

i chose computer science and engineering in this college as it encourages to solve real world problems present curriculum helps a lot in preparing us for real world challanges i think curriculum at present should inculcate AI concepts and usage of AI for every month we will have a CIA and are of difficult level

for after 5th and 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements companies like cognizant,vipro,amazon visited and made offers to our college highest package is 4500000 and average package is 750000 95 percent of students get selected in campus placements i would like to do a job after degree

the total fee is 187000 for two semesters that includes 170000 tution fee, 500 for sports and development,3000 for personality development,500 admission fee,500 for unit test fee,500 for dept.association fee,500 for medical exam fee,500 for id card,10000 for development charges,1000 for marks verification fee

Campus Life

we get to celebrate three fests mainly daksh, colosseum, theeta in months of march and april we get to have wide range of books for allowance in library we got a projector and screen for every classroom we get to participate in sports week typically held in march we have clubs like arcadia which are workshop related

Admission

I chose this college mainly for two reasons very affordable fee when compared to other colleges and top class studying environment when compared to other options i had I didn't apply for much other colleges but i attempted jee mains where i had chance of going to some GFTI but i chose this college over them they took both jee maimns percentile and class 12 marks as eligibility criteria nad give ranks rather to have a separate examination i got 169 rank in that

Faculty

the faculty to student ratio is very good as there are more sticked academic support and liked our first year maths kannan sir very much and i think he is the best for me we have three CIA that are in other term MiD Exams in which they consider top 2 for internals and there will be an end semester exam which is very difficult and tough

Night Life

we have 2 gyms in our college,a big library,public areas like cafetaria, restaurants and etc in timings are before 10:00 PM vinayaga hotel is famous place to hang out and locality nearby college is safe to roam around in night time

Good college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Curriculums are good (it depends on depts) and they are updated and new electives/ cbcs are added thus updating curriculum and there are subject with heavy lab which don't have end sem instead lab and only internal which is not what other colleges have. they also have open book test for subjcts like programming languge so students can focus on learning the language instaed of memorizing. however as we are batch of a new regulation we are not aware of kind of questions that would come. however forthcoming batches won't be having this issue. unlike other collges only 2 internal exams and 1 semester is conducted. both the internal is given equal weightage ( having unit 1&2 and 3&4 for each exams) and retest is also conducted for internal however even if one exam not written they need to write all 4 unit incase of health issues etc. 50% internal and 50% external. so if having good internal can easlity score well in total. However if one fails to secure internal then passing the subject becomes very hard. Core subjects however prepares well for real-world. however i feel curriculums should be slightly revised so that students learn everyhting systematically instead of memorizing. Honest internship

Placement Experience:

According to my college official website, so far in this year, the students here have got over 3000 placements by March and the number keeps growing. They don't specifically share the exact amount the students are placed for but the highest this year so far is 43.5 LPA. And this has been consistent over last few years.

The placements in my college are moderate but improving each year. Good internships

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester, if you have required skill sets you can go for internships and placements. There are more than 600 companies that include Tata, Mahindra, Google, Deloitte and many more. Highest package was of 1.2 crores and average package is 8 -9 lakhs. I don't have the exact statistical data but yaa more than 70% students get placed. I am looking for a high pay job after getting the degree

The reason i choose this college because of the really good placements available in it. The different between the college i applied for and sastra will be Reputation: In my surroundings sastra have a great goodwill and Reputation compared to other colleges. Placements: sastra provide wide range of placements and opportunities while other colleges have limited options. Academic: sastra provide a great faculty , other diploma to add on which adds great value and research opportunities. I applied for sastra and srm in trichy, i got selected in both the colleges but i choose sastra Over srm. I choose sastra because of it's quality education.
