Total fee is almost 28 lacs and 7 lacs per year it includes everything like stay, food, tution, electricity etc. Also a lot of scholarships are provided on basis of merit and income. There is scholarship named meri cumulative need scholarship.

Brief about BITS Hyderabad

In 2016, yearly fees used to come out to be 3.5lac but not it's somewhere around 6lac. There are few scholarships (MCN, SAF) as well that we can take benifits according to the eligibility and amount will depend on the CGPA and the financial status of the family.

The fee is very high but it is worth it the education

The fee structure for the academic year 2024-25 includes an admission fee of ?57,100, a semester fee ranging from ?5,19,000 to ?5,99,000 across the four years, and other mandatory charges such as Student Union fees, Student Aid Fund, Medical Insurance, and Hostel Fees. The hostel and mess charges amount to approximately ?55,500 and ?44,000 per semester, respectively. Additional costs include books, stationery, and miscellaneous expenses, estimated at ?7,500 and ?7,000 annually. The total annual expenditure varies from ?6,94,775 to ?8,22,675, depending on the year of study. Year wise fees is 690000. Tuition fees of bits is 540000, hostel and mess fees is 40000 each . There are two scholarships criteria, merit cum need and only merit based.MCN is for students whose parents have ITR less than 15 lakh . To avail it generally the cgpa cutoff is 8.5 or above.For merit based top 1% students get 100% scholarship. Fees for students in CSE and are in top 1 % is negligible as compared to the rest

Fee is 350000 per year which includes tuition fee, mess & hostel fee. It gets a hike of roughly 5-10% yoy. Complete course costed me roughly 1600000. Merit & merit cum need scholarships were given to academically good students

The college offers a number of scholarships. Merit-cum-need: This is offered to students whose families are not financially capable of supporting the full fees. The waiver range ranges from 25%-100% Merit scholarship: This is based purely on your CGPA and you can get a waiver of as much as 100% if you score a CGPA of 10. INSPIRE scholarship: This is offered under the Inspire program to the students studying science.
