DTU B.Tech in Information Technology has a solid curriculum with a good faculty-student ratio and strong placements, especially in tech companies like Microsoft and Nvidia, while offering a vibrant campus life with various societies and events. In contrast, BITS Pilani's BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering is known for its rigorous academic environment and exceptional placement records, often producing graduates with higher average packages. Personally, I would lean towards BITS Pilani for its overall prestige and consistent placement success, especially if you’re aiming for top-tier companies. However, if you're looking for a balanced experience with a focus on tech and enjoyable campus life, DTU could be a great fit.

If you have the option to choose BITS Pilani, go for it! Here’s why:

• Campus and Facilities: BITS has a vast campus with excellent facilities.
• Quality of Education: Being a private college, BITS generally offers better faculty compared to MNNIT.
• Computer Science and IT at MNNIT: While MNNIT's CS and IT programs are strong in terms of academics, coding culture, and placements, the comparison still leans towards BITS.
• Placement Packages: The average package for CS at MNNIT is around 13.63 lakh, which is good, but BITS Pilani's CS average package is approximately 17-18 lakh or even more!

Keep in mind that BITS' fees are about 3-4 times higher than MNNIT, so if finances are not a concern, BITS is the way to go!

I'll be completely honest about this. First off, I'm an alumnus of NITT from the EEE branch. BITS Pilani definitely has a better brand value compared to NIT Trichy.

So, making an informed decision will depend on answering several questions that you need to ask yourself:

• What branch do you prefer? EEE is a pretty vast branch in terms of subjects, papers, and workload compared to CS.
• Are you looking for high-paying jobs?
• If you choose EEE, are you willing to work in the core sector? Do all coding companies recruit EEE graduates from Pilani?
• Fees? (BITS costs almost twice as much these days, especially since the NIT fees have been hiked by the central government.)
• BITS has a very flexible academic structure and is known to have better faculty than NIT-T. However, there is no disparity in terms of placement.
• I've seen the placement records of recent batches at NITT, and looking at BITS Pilani's available recruiters' list, I can confidently say that we had a similar number of companies in the same batch, and maybe even more.

Another interesting fact is that the curriculum of EEE at NITT allows students to sit for all software companies without any issues (Operating Systems, Computer Architecture, etc.).

IIT Delhi's B.Tech in Industrial & Production Engineering offers a robust placement program with companies like Google, Microsoft, and Tata regularly visiting campus, and an impressive average package of around 18 lakhs, which is hard to beat. In contrast, BITS Pilani's BE in Electrical and Electronics Engineering also has good placement prospects but lacks specific package data in the details I found. While both colleges provide excellent faculty and infrastructure, IIT Delhi edges ahead in terms of placement opportunities and the companies that recruit from there. If you're keen on strong career outcomes and high packages, IIT Delhi is the way to go; however, if you prefer a more balanced academic environment with flexibility, BITS Pilani could be a good fit.

I've looked into both DTU and BITS Pilani, and honestly, it feels like a tough choice. DTU has a vibrant campus life with tons of clubs and fests, and its location in Delhi brings great placement opportunities, especially in tech with companies like FAANG visiting. However, BITS Pilani offers a more flexible curriculum with a credit system that lets you explore subjects and has strong on-campus internships. If you value a bustling campus and excellent placement stats, go for DTU Electronics & Communication. But if you prefer a more holistic education experience with freedom in your course selection, then BE Computer Science at BITS Pilani would suit you better. Personally, I'd lean towards BITS for its overall student experience and innovative curriculum.

BITS has a solid reputation for high CGPA-driven placements, with companies like Adobe offering lucrative internships with stipends up to 1 lakh, while DTU also has impressive companies visiting like Google and Microsoft but tends to have more competition for placements. Both have similar fee structures and scholarship availability, but DTU's tech-focused curriculum in Mathematics and Computing may appeal more if you're inclined towards tech. If you’re aiming for a tech career and can handle a rigorous math curriculum, DTU is great, but if you want broader engineering opportunities with established placement records, BITS Pilani is likely the better choice.

DTU and BITS Pilani both offer solid engineering programs, but if we focus on placements and internships, DTU has an edge in Electronics & Communication Engineering. With a reported highest package of INR 82.05 LPA and strong ties to major companies for internships, students have great opportunities right in the national capital. BITS Pilani’s Civil Engineering program provides good internship access and a flexible curriculum that adapts to market needs, but it may not match DTU's intense placement statistics. If you’re leaning towards a tech-driven career with high package potential, DTU is the better choice, while BITS is excellent if you prefer Civil Engineering and a holistic educational approach.

If you’re aiming for a robust tech career with better financial returns, go for BITS Pilani; if you prefer a more stable engineering path and are okay with slightly less lucrative outcomes, DTU could work well too.
