- Board Toppers: The Institute will provide direct admission to first rank students of all the central and state boards to the program of their choice, irrespective of their BITSAT score. The first rank student in the PCM stream will be considered for admission to any of the first degree programmes of his/her choice, however, the first rank holder of the PCB stream will be considered for admission to the B.Pharm program only.
- International Students' Admission: Candidates with foreign passports and a valid score in the Scholastic Assessment Test (SAT) are eligible to apply for admission without a score in BITSAT. Candidates should have a minimum aggregate score of 1160 (out of a maximum of 1600) on the SAT.
- BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy: Candidates who appeared in BITSAT can also choose admission through the BITS-RMIT Higher Education Academy Mode. Such candidates will receive two degrees that are awarded separately and simultaneously from both the universities, BITS Pilani and RMIT Australia.

Yes,BITS Pilani accepts only BITSAT as the method for admission and doesn’t accept any other exam for the same even JEE Mains.
