IIT Delhi's B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing offers a rigorous curriculum with a strong focus on high-level mathematics and computer science, which is great for those aiming for quant or tech roles. The placement statistics are impressive, with top companies like Google and Jane Street recruiting actively and offering huge packages. In contrast, BITS Pilani's BE in Computer Science also has a solid reputation and competitive placements, but the emphasis seems more skewed towards software roles rather than the diverse range of opportunities at IIT Delhi. Personally, I'd pick IIT Delhi for its unique blend of mathematics and computing, which opens doors to both tech and finance, along with a vibrant campus life and highly qualified faculty. If you love math and want a broader spectrum of job opportunities, go for IIT Delhi; if you're more into pure software development, BITS Pilani is a fantastic choice too.

IIT Delhi's B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing offers exceptional placement opportunities, especially for those targeting quant and tech roles, with top companies like Google and Jane Street offering packages up to 4 crore. The rigorous curriculum prepares students well, but it comes with a heavier workload. On the other hand, BITS Pilani's BE in Computer Science also has a solid placement record, but it seems to focus more on traditional tech roles. While both colleges have a great reputation, IIT Delhi edges out slightly in terms of high-paying quant internships and placements. If you're passionate about mathematics and want to dive into high-finance roles, IIT Delhi is the better choice; if you're leaning more towards conventional software roles, BITS Pilani is still a fantastic option.

IIT Delhi’s B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing and BITS Pilani’s BE in Computer Science both have strong placements, but their financial dynamics differ. IIT Delhi has a higher tuition fee of around ?1,00,000 per semester, which can add up, though it also offers various scholarships that can help ease the burden. On the other hand, BITS Pilani is known for its excellent return on investment due to a slightly lower fee structure and robust placement statistics. However, IIT Delhi’s reputation attracts top-tier firms like Jane Street, offering mind-blowing packages. If you love math and are inclined towards finance or quant roles, IIT Delhi might be the better choice despite the cost. But if you're looking for a balanced tech education with a solid ROI, BITS Pilani could be your smarter financial pick.

Before choosing Mathematics and Computing, you must consider if you can handle math for 4 years or 5 for the integrated program. It can be challenging to get placed in major MNCs with a good package. Computer Science will make it easier to find an IT MNC job, and the placement probability will generally be higher. It's advisable to avoid new IITs due to a shortage of good faculty and a very low placement ratio. This is my opinion based on personal analysis.

If you're comparing IIT Delhi's B.Tech in Mathematics and Computing with BITS Pilani's BE in Computer Science, I think IIT Delhi's program is a strong choice. Both departments involve a significant amount of coding, so you'll enjoy that aspect in either case. The differences between the two are minimal, so you can choose either one based on your preferences.
