NIT Meghalaya Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I choose because it is an only an national institute of engineering in the entire state. It is also have a nice ranking in nirf in all india ranking. It also have produce some great reseachers which have done in the institute.

It is the only national educational engineering college in the state and also it has the best faculty and reasearch facility in the entire state and also it has the best infrastructure in the entire state.

The college is located in main city place in Shillong Meghalaya. The college has decent infrastructure with good facility and machines. But has less no. Of faculties with not so good faculties in some subjects. Overall a great college better then any local college with proper opportunities.

Reliance, Nepco, PGCI are the companies visited on the campus. Placement is taken mainly taken from interviews held on campus and the result score in the exam. The placement department is working hard to getting as many more companies as in my institute.

We are running our college on a temporary campus in Shillong as the permanent campus is under construction in cherrapunji. The only bad thing about this college is we have a lot of restrictions because of the temporary campus.

Good environment for studies.And outside atomposhere also good.Some proffecer are also good they helping all time of every student

No permanent campus and no ground for playing for students also all the events will be conducted by the college even though in a small manner sometimes there will be very late reply when we send any message to academics

The campus being temporary at present, is in a much happier place surrounded by all kinds of restaurants, food corners, necessary shops, good hospitals, banks etc. The negative may be the lack of space in most classrooms, however that turns good as the faculties focus better on each & *** CGPA turns out better***

Overall it is okay. But since there is no permanent campus, it is very hard for us to reach College on time everyday. We have to get up early in the morning to wait for the bus and all. Also, tehre is a limited resources. Our library is too small and labs are also not sufficient.

Students have to go to college by bus as the hostels are away from college because of which there is a huge loss of time in going and coming back to the hostel. As Shillong is already a congested city, there is a problem with huge traffic, so time gets wasted on going to college and coming back to the hostel.
