NIT Meghalaya Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the 7th semester, students are allowed to sit in placements. Many companies visit our colleges like L&T, Powergrid, Microsoft, Alstrum, Tech Mahindra, and TCS as this many companies will come, the Highest package of our college is 45LPA, and the placement percentage is about 60%.

From the end of 5th sem we are eligible for placement we get good internships also so many companies visit every in our college including software and core companies also comes the highest package was 55 lakh from Amazon

From the 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. so many companies came to college for example Microsoft, Samsung, etc. The highest package is 24lpa, and the average package is 6lpa. as per the company and profiles offered.

From 6 semesters students become eligible for campus placements. NIT Meghalaya has concluded its placement drive for the batch passing out in 2022. The institute has achieved an overall 70% placements for the academic year 2021-2022. The companies are Wipro, Infosys, Microsoft, etc.

College provides campus placements. Most top companies visit our campus for recruiting students. The top MNCs that visit are Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle, TCS, and more. The average package is 15lpa and the highest package is 48lpa.

NIT Meghalaya is a decent institute as par as studies are concerned. You will have ample of chance to study and learn new stuffs, being a new institute you get a lot of stuffs and initiatives to be done and handled single handy which gives another chance not only to learn and showcase your skills but also to use it in future for organizing similar stuffs in future.Being a MeghNITe , it was always a cutting edge for me in interviews and people used to literally appreciate the exposure I had even from being a remote located college of India ( though it was not pretty different to what a normal NITian would had in other NIT).If you do same thing in limited resources to what your competitor does with ample of resources, even having same outcome its more likely to get appreciated and this is what happens when you are studying at new NIT.Coming to infrastructure : NIT M has decent labs ( comparable to even many of old IITs ) ,mix of youth ,energetic and quite experienced pool of faculties , prime location and technically sound students as college.I would suggest to go ahead with decision and consider it a fair Chance to study at NITM (Provided you do not have any better option).

My Institute is an Institution of National Importance. Though being one of the newer NITs, academically its better than many of the older NITs. Our college has been ranked 61st in the 2020 NIRF rankings and is ranked 14th among all NITs. Moreover the placements are very good. Most of faculty members are also very good and are highly qualified. Being close to my house is an additional perk for me.

A national importance institute so i choose this. Also because its located in my own state. Also because of the reviews of the college from my senior friends. Many others so yeah that the reason that i choose nitm

I choose this college because it is the only national engineering college in the entire state. It also have a nice ranking of nirf in India. I have opted for this course because i think doing btech in electrical would give a nice job.
