Review on NIT Meghalaya

I am interested in electronics and electrical parts and from childhood, I have been keen on these topics so I chose this course, I think in our branch nearly there are 10 faculty for teaching and nearly 30 lab technicians including Ph.D. scholars for the whole four years of the BTECH i.e the ratio is 1:3.Faculty are well-qualified maximum all of them have completed their Ph.D. and their teaching is also ok but some faculty are not able to explain students that effectively. For a semester there is one mid-exam and one end exam, for every end and mid-exam there will be a class test and assignment. Passing the exam was not that tough because we had to get a total of 70 for the semester combining mid, and end exams and class tests and assignments actually end exam is for 100 marks, the mid-exam 50 marks, and the class tests for 30, and assignments for 20 which together 200 we have to 70 from 200 and 30 in end exam.

Our colleges give information on where we can do internships i.e. under which companies or we can do under sir's. The Projects are according to our course so this is about the internship process in our college.

From the 7th semester, students are allowed to sit in placements. Many companies visit our colleges like L&T, Powergrid, Microsoft, Alstrum, Tech Mahindra, and TCS as this many companies will come, the Highest package of our college is 45LPA, and the placement percentage is about 60%.

The cost to study is nearly 1,10,000 which includes 62500 as a course or tuition fee and 49,000 as a hostel, mess, water, electricity, Wifi, and library fees. We will get a scholarship from the government for people whose family's annual income is less than 1 lakh rupees.

In our college there will be only two fests one will be cultural which is called Shishir which is conducted in April and other one is technical fest is conducted in November which is called COGNITIA. Books are available only for our study or academic purposes there will only less scope for books for other or outer Knowledge, Amenities in the classroom are very small only chairs, a projector, and lights are provided and social groups, clubs, and some websites for those clubs are run by students, some clubs are like Coding club, Dance and Drama club, Robotics club are there but these clubs are not that effective because they small reach.

Eligibility and how to join NITM, The process is the same for all NITs up to the counselling process. First, we have to clear JEE MAIN as per the cutoff set for different categories i.e. according to the reservation categories like SC/ST, OBC-NCL, EWS. After clearing that we have to apply for counselling held by JOSAA and then you will get allotted as per your preference and rank by the end of the counselling process the certificates required for this counselling are given on the Official website of JOSAA. Then as per my college, there will be the process. Now we talk about NITM, the process is we have to pay the remaining fees, i.e. by subtracting the fees which we pay in JOSAA, and have to fill out a Google form in which you give your personal and family information, a seat confirmation letter that you get from JOSAA, category certificate and other required one's which are given in the official website of NITM during the admission process and we have to submit them offline.
