I choose this college over other colleges for the following reason : 1. Vast and green campus, i love nature and greenery and this campus is very huge covering 1250 acre of land with vast area covered in forest 2. A very good interactive campus with good boy to girl ratio. Lots of other departments to gain insight from students of different domain and field. 3. I wanted to explore northeast and meghalay is called as scotland of east. 4. Very afforable for me as compare to other colleges. Admission to this institute is done in two ways, first one is by NEHU counselling and second is by JOSSa/CSAB counselling. Eligibility to apply you must be 12th passed you must appeared for JEE mains eaxm and you must have a valid JEE score cutoff for this college vary every year but safe score of JEE is around 80 percentile....Read More

Firstly I applied mostly only in the Shillong colleges, Like lady kene college Shillong, Shillong college shillong, St. Edmund's college Shillong, St. Marrys college, St. Anthonys college ,In Assam too Assam Don bosco university and Royal global university I applied, I got all the colleges to admission accept the St. Edmunds college shillong I didn't get any message and mails all I got from St. Edmunds college is only the form payment receipt. I didn't choose the college over the other's but the St. Anthony's college is one of the best college in Meghalaya that's why my parents and my siblings ask to join there but still I didn't want it coz I don't like the course which I got it there but they force me to join there so that's why I've join. Yes only from one college I didn't get any message or mails from that college so I accept it as a rejection. My admission first in st. I applied to st. Anthonys and st. Edmunda where i got admission but still i preferred NEHU because it was the only university available here and that too a central one. The other colleges were affiliates of NEHU and also didn't have law course in their curriculum. I didn't get rejected instead i was the one who rejected because of the reasons i cited above. Admission process is through CUET but i don't know the cut off since i took admission here during covid where i got admitted through merit but here tribals have increased cutoff of 10% in their marks while taking admission. I applied to Gauhati University and Dibrugarh University in Assam and also St. Xavier's College in kolkata. They conduct entrance examination and there was a huge reservation for others categories and imya general category student so I couldn't get a chance there . And thus I chose NEHU because I completed my graduation from St. Anthony's college which is under NEHU only . So I had a preference over other students. For other courses in NEHU they require CUET score and for biotechnology they require GATE-B score. For Msc programme eligibility is 50% in graduation and also cuet score ....Read More
