Remarks

Overall it is okay. But since there is no permanent campus, it is very hard for us to reach College on time everyday. We have to get up early in the morning to wait for the bus and all. Also, tehre is a limited resources. Our library is too small and labs are also not sufficient.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Course curriculum is okay. In class, they only teach theory part and in Labs we use to implement whatever we studied in class. It is not that hectic though. Exam pattern is good. Now the new pattern has come up where they focus on quality education and check whether the student has understood the subject well or not. In question paper they cover all the section, how much you can remember about the subject, how much have you understood and how can you apply that to different situation.

Placement Experience

3.5

Yes, placement is good in our College. Especially, for my branch I would say. And yes, my College provide internship but only for those student who are at top 4 or 5. Other students have to manage by themselves and that is not good I would say.

College Events

2.5

Yes, we celebrate all the technical, cultural and also some important festivals. Our technical fest is not that huge but it is okay. The only thing I feel bad about all the fests is that teachers consider it unimportant. They think we do not need fests and all and should only focus on studies. In cultural fest also funding is less I feel. We have to spend too less for everything and keep count of each and everything.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Its not that expensive. For the st/sc people we do not have to give tution fee i, e its 0 for us and we only have to pay for the hostel (who wants to stay in hostel) and mess only. For each semester, we have to pay around 31000 for st and sc. For obcs, its around 65000 per sem and for general around 100000 i guess.

Fees and Financial Aid

Many scholarship facilities are there in our College provided by government. For a single girl child also it is there if there income is low. Also the poor income people can avail scholarship. There is also scholarship for topper of every branch. And also the obc people get a refund of their sem fees fully.

Campus Life

3

Tehre is not discrimination based on gender in College. But only problem is that we have to reach hostel by 7pm every night whereas for boys no such timing is there. In classroom there is no such discrimination, teachers are equally helpful to everyone.

Hostel Facilities

2

Hostel rooms are quite clean and rooms are also in good size for two seaters. But food is not that good in taste and we often have to complain about degradation of food quality but still it does not improve. Also, the wifi does not work properly. Every week we have to complain about wifi also. And since we do not have permanent campus, we have been given a bus to go to College and bus also doesn't come most of the time. We have to spend extra money to go to College everyday.

Alumni/Alumna

Seniors are also very nice. They treat us like their brother and sisters. They helped us a lot in facing the College and also in many ways. We used to work with our seniors during fest which helped our communication skills and also the management skills.

Admission

First I qpplied for JEE exam, we had a exam and when the result was out my marks were above the cutoff marks required for ST. So, I got selected in one of the NITs that I applied for. And then I chose Computer Science Branch because I had more interest in this and also the placement for this branch is good.

Faculty

4

Yes, teachers are experienced and they also help students who are average. But not all the teachers are same. There may be some teachers who focus only on completing the syllabus instead making us understand the su ject better. But overall teachers are very helpful. There are teachers who teach us according to industrial experience and that is quite impressive. Also they help students who wants to do their personal projects.

Due to recession the campus placements are not that good like earlier years. This year the Highest package was offered by Amazon to only one student of CSE department. The package was offered 43 lacs per annum. Rest of the students got a package of 12-15 lacs per annum. The average package was 6-8 lacs per annum. The overall percentage of placement was nearly 88 percent.
