- Nagpur: It is so expensive and is very boring compared to cities like pune hyderabad and even indore

- VNIT Nagpur provides a good level of network in terms of students and professors and also it has good exposure towards the advancing technology in supporting that there are some technical clubs like IvLabs, S.H.E.L.L and events like AXIS.
- VNIT has a vast resource of Books in library and most appreciating thing is that VNIT supports sports enthusiasts in the support of this it conducts some events like DG (Departmental Gathering) in this event all the departments will compete.
Dislikes
- In my point of view VNIT has following the old rules without considering student problems like when you have a backlog in any course, you can't opt it in a consecutive semester and if you're opting you have to drop respective slot course in that sem.
- In EEE point of view it is providing the courses separately instead of that it can merge one or more similar courses so that student can get some time to explore in other fields also because of this EEE is really very hectic until last semester.
Placement Experience:
Placements in VNIT Nagpur is decent and reasonable, for non-core around 9-11LPA avg package and for core it depends on the respective orgnization conducting placements it varies according to the department and company offering the placements every year. Recently in 2024 JUNE - 2025JUN placement & Internship phase many companies are coming like GSK,HILTI,D.E.Shaw,Google,Bajaj auto,UBS,Goldman Sachs,ARISTA and many more are coming in future, there are ample of opportunities to showcase your skills in industrial level through these internships. Around 70-80% of students are getting placed averagely and some may prefer higher studies rather than placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I choose Metallurgy and materials engineering because It is good in VNIT nagpur being an old college it has also good exposure and placement is also Some how good. If I talk about my college student ratio is like other engineering colleges and in my class also there is 1 girl per 7 boys . Talking about the faculty of my college , they are very good and nice. Some Professor recently in world's top 2% scientist. There have two exam in a semester that is mid sem and end sem.

fir internships one can eligible after 3rd ssem and companies start recuirting april in 3nd year and about placenents it starts in late 3rd year to 4th year google oracle deeshaw erc almost in cse are placed

Placement Experience:
From 4th year i.e. 7th semester you can sit in campus placements which will be held offline and online. In Chemical Engineering, From 60 job offers 56 students got placed in campus placements with the highest package of 16.98 LPA and an average package of 9.72 LPA. The percentage of students placed is 67.47%. Companies visited are HPCL, BPCL, IOCL, ONGC, Tata Steels, ITC, etc.

- The campus is well equipped with Modern amenities like gym , recreation areas for student and well maintained night canteen .
- Seniors are well supportive , student mentor guide you through the necessary decisions during your college life , thus making your college life a cakewalk .
Dislikes
- Some of the college events have been very nice and engaging but others are quite boring .
- All clubs are nice ,ivlabs(robotics club), octaves (music club) to name a few . But not all of them are active .
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is well equipped with latest methodologies ensuring that student gains entire knowledge necessary for the industry, which made me to choose this course . Although I would suggest some courses in the first year are not needed at all like social science , mechanical wirkshop . Evaluations includes mid semester examination and an end semester examination . Quizes are also a part of evaluation although their frequency entirely depends upon the course coordinator and is not fixed. Entire paper is based on the notes of proffesor so if you have attended the lectures well, you will find paper level easy .

- Meeting new people coming from different states of India and getting to learn new things everyday.
- Professors are really helpful, they help you to get research interns in college itself.
Dislikes
- Departments buildings are old so the bit problem with that.
- mess food is average and sometimes below average, and canteen food is not that great.
Placement Experience:
Generally internship on campus companies start coming on the start of 3rd year and for placements it starts after 3rd year. Internships are a bit difficult to crack if you are trying on campus. Companies like BPCL and HPCL has visited took students with packages for 16 17 lakhs. highest package offered was 34 lakhs 2023 average package goes to 9lakhs since recession period is taking so companies hiring and salary gone down, but around 70 to 80 % people got placed. ITC take a good amount of students offering a package of 10 to 12 lakhs. they give internship oppurtunities also and give ppo, depending on your performance. Fractal Analaysis, Delloite, Goldmann sachs other companies. My plan is to try for off campus or on campus job in consulting.

- VNIT is also known for its excellent sports facilities .overall a good college to study and having fun.
Dislikes
- and specially for 1st year student ,sometimes they need to face the problems of ragging but not any serious thing.
Placement Experience:
college placemets are good . different departemets have different placement stats like CSE has an average placement of around 15lakh+ .college provides placement in your 4th year of engineering .college average placement are about 7-8lakhs . highest package is 68lpa of cse /ece . placement % of top branches are almost 95% but for lower branches its like around 75-80%.

- Have separate department for structural engineering students specifically for M.tech
- Library facilities are to good and ambience of the Library is also good.
Dislikes
- They do not provide intership facilities or they donot allow mtech structures students to do internship in any other company.
- Research facilities are not upto the mark.
Placement Experience:
For our branch specifically we have 100 % placement the companies like L&T, TCE, SPCL and many more multinational companies visit our college. Wherever in any NIT the avg package for this branch is 6LPA.

- Its a lush green campus which i liked the most . after that its location which is located in Nagpur city with pleasent whether for the whole year.
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is good as almost every student remember my point if every student who studies half of that they studied for JEE then he gets very good placement . now as you want stats then avg packge is 10.3 LPA and highest packge is 64 LPA to some students by Oracle. avg packge for CSE was 17 lpa , highest was 53 lpa avg packge for ECE was 15 lpa , highest was 64 lpa
Placement Experience:
There placements in campus almost 70 percentage of every branch people got placement offers , more than 150 compines visited the campus . And hired many students The highest packages are 64lpa CTC and lowest is 5.30lpa.
