There are many compnies visited for internship such as kpit, bosch, dral, and some goverment agencies.the stipned during internship is minimum 20000 per month to 55000 per month provided and internship range vary compney to compney from 2 months to 12 months.

Lush green campus with full of greenary and peaceful environment.
Hostels and campus facilities are good and classes of each department looks great with all facilities.
Good placements for circuital branches like Cse, Ece, Eee

Dislikes

Mess food was not upto the mark. We need to adjust about the food
Not great placement for branches like chemical, metallurgy, mining
Attendance criteria is strict for some departments.

Internships Opportunities:

We get companies for intership opportunity from 5th semester till end of 6th semester. Companies : DE Shaw, Google, Oracle, hilti, Natwest, goldman sachs, john deere. All these offer SD Inter, trainee role.

Dislikes

Only placement for the top 4 branches and the tnp doesnot care about other branches .
Rude professors and ignorant to students problem .
Professors more like politician they can do anything and get away with it.

Internships Opportunities:

Internships are only for top 3 branches and for lower branches you barely get and opportunity . For us only ITC , Reliance and mondelez came for intern. Mostly internship is all about connects the person with the most connects will get internship opportunity and others wont .

A best start to earn money

neatness and maintainence here is appreciable. college is so neat and clean everytime. on a regular basis, people clean roads, classes, hostels and complete college.
greenery is absolutely amazing at vnit as expected at a national institute of technology before b.tech . everywhere on roads has boundaries built with beautifull trees and monsoon is especially meant for it.
events are the other part which I like here because there are number of events happening regularly which brings masala to a boring students life. events include technical, cultural, robotics, litrery, creative, sports and lot more to explore.

Dislikes

many people here are alone and depressed might be because of stress caused by environment or something. it is here because lack of interactions among students at vnit which decreases interest among people to be actuvely participating at everything.
there is intime for girls whereas boys have no intime. many iits and nits doesnt keep intime for girls. it provides security ofcourse but stops girls to explore nagpur in thier teenage.
food at mess is literally 5/10. only breakfast here is good. dinner is soo worst at vnit. there is no spice in the food provided at mess in hostels. no special food, no craze in mess as expected at a national institute of technologys.

I got internship at present in johndeere from core which gives 45000 stipend and on full time gives 13.1 lpa which is good and best for our branch. our branch gives maximum of 13 lps from private companies so i feel this job brings me pride and improve my strenths and skills as well. till now, 18 students from ourvdepartment got internship in 5 months where 50000 is highest stipend offered by itc company. we got bajaj itc mondelez pwc vedanta and johndeere from core and many more companies relted to it sector. i prefer to haveminimum 2 projects from core subjects till 3rd year because those projects highlight our resume in internships as well as placement and help us in catchinh time in interviews. try doing practical and daily life based projects which mainly help attracting inteviewr and score the best from the company.

i liked the infrastructure of the college
i liked the overall culture and the interaction between the seniors and juniors.
the faculties are also very well qualified from several prestigious institutes like IITs and NITs

Dislikes

the thing i disliked was the hectic schedule of the course, classes start from 8 am to 6 pm in evening
the examination is tough than i thought of
there is less attention and focus on the below average students

My opinion of VNIT

Likes

I really liked the lush green campus, the cool environment and the great sports facilities.
I loved the way the premises are maintained and how the college is free of any ragging
The infrastructure of the college is top-notch and many new buildings keep on get constructed.

Dislikes

The academics here is too strict and harsh.
the rules of this college are a bit strict.
Some fests are really amazing but many aren't

Internships Opportunities:

Interships come to the college students during their third and fourth year. Different companies come for their respective departments and provide a different pay. Usually getting an intern generally means that you would be placed in the company.

Likes

Sports facilities are awesome in vnit there is almost all games are in vnit.
Infrastructure and campus are too beautiful in vnit.
Campus is very lush green spread in 215 acre. Connectivity is too nice as metro station is very near too college.

Dislikes

There is so much academics load on first years they have no time to roam in college.
Boys and girls ratio is not so good. There is 4:1 ratio.
Hostels are not so well maintained. Bathroom are dirty they clean it every week.

the sport facility here is excellent ,i would say one of the best among all nits .
the campus is very clean and full of greenery.
the campus is situated in the middle of city ,its very hard to find 215 acre campus in the middle of city, which is a very nice aspect.

Dislikes

first years have intime of 8 pm to the hostels
you wont be able to carry any electronics item in your hostel room except coolers in summer
network in boys hostel is quite slow ,so you must have laptop for Lan connection to avail free Lan benefit

Sports facilities in vnit are too good as here all the sports facilities are available.
In vnit there is approximately 30 plus club in which any one can get in as per there intrest.
College is situated in main city of nagpur and connectivity is to good near college there is metro station.

Dislikes

Boys girls ratio is too less and i don't like it as number of bays are more than number of girls.
Distance between boys hostel and girls hostel is appro 3 km .
Hostel bathrooms are not so well maintained as they clean it once in aweek.

The campus is beautiful with abundant greenery, sports complex, well equipped labs, classrooms, library, auditorium, open-air theatre and well maintained facilities almost every where . Also there is swimming pool, vlsc activity for 1st years
hostel life is going good with above average mess food . Also there will be single occupancy rooms from 2nd year onwards thats amazing, rooms are quite big for 2 persons in 1st year , sports facilities are average in m hostel CV raman HB-6
students are from all over india that makes such a good environment to live and learn about their regions and culture.

Dislikes

students from mechanical and chemical have reported a bit mixed outcomes on placement opportunities , indicating room for improvement
the quality of teaching is not at that level i had thought before joining this college
boys to girls ratio is very less like 3:1

Internships Opportunities:

Summer internships for 3rd year student after 5th sem of 8-10 weeks from mid may to late july. semester long internship is also available. companies like BPCL, Larsen & Toubro , etc comes to offer internships. stipend is purely based on role assigned in company. My mentor rupesh gaikwad sir also got a summer internship in Bangalore.
