Likes

Have separate department for structural engineering students specifically for M.tech
Library facilities are to good and ambience of the Library is also good.
The teaching faculties are expert in there respective research areas.

Dislikes

They do not provide intership facilities or they donot allow mtech structures students to do internship in any other company.
Research facilities are not upto the mark.
Hostel are not well maintained also mess good quality is too bad

Course Curriculum Overview

Some subjects are USP's of college example earthquake dynamic I have not seen any student other than VNIT will have same amount of knowledge about this subject who is from other institution. Also subject like Multi storey building is also the one of the part of curriculum.

Placement Experience

For our branch specifically we have 100 % placement the companies like L&T, TCE, SPCL and many more multinational companies visit our college. Wherever in any NIT the avg package for this branch is 6LPA.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for open student is approximately 46000 per sem and they do not have any scholarship. Also the hostel fees for single share accommodation is 50000 per sem. The academic fees includes gym facilities, swimming pool, sport complex and library also.

Campus Life

There are many clubs which are active in college for drama club we have halla boll also we have music club and many more. One of the best thing is they have special event called a VIHANG for PG students.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facility is too good but the food is too bad. The mess are not cleaned. Single accommodation room can be provided to the PG student. You can pay the hostel fees online from VNIT website l. In locality the minimum room price is 3k per month.

Admission

The basic eligibility criteria for taking addmission and for stipend is you should be GATE qualified. The application form can be filled on CCMT. GATE examination is once in the year at my time the cutoff was 480 gate score for OPEN.

Faculty

The classes are been held on regular basis, the faculty is expert in their respective areas because of faculty also ou le department placement is 100%. Also the subject they taught the give us assignment to prepare excel those will be helpful in industries.

Placement Experience:

Explain this in chronological order first any person need to complete degree with at least 50% above then only they will be able to sit in the placement. Placement rates are high if you have in depth knowledge about your study. Most of the times company visit Amazon and take Mahindra highest packages 1.5 lakh to 4 lakh. now after getting the degree my goal are to get job any company in Stastitical Department.

I had Applied to Vit pune and I am getting Ai and DS there but my dream was to get an NIT so I dropped my decision and can to VNIT. I did not get any rejection from there I just rejected that college over NIT.
