I personally wanted to join government college but because of my low marks in entrance exams i was not able to and i have seen online dpu as one of the best colleges in private category so i applied here as the fees was also kinda low than symbiosis and others

Anti ragging campus. I never saw ragging in our campus

Dislikes

Lift issues are very common lift usually take 5mins reaching on a floor
Campus is very small there are only buildings but they are progressing in making it huge

Admission:

Honestly I was a neet student but my scores were not enough to apply for a medical college but I kept biotechnology as my second option. Eligibility here is 12th pass and you will have a entrace exam and overall admission process wasn't hectic at all

Dislikes

The management has a lot of improving to do since they are very stringent with budgeting for college events

Admission:

I applied for colleges like VIT and MIT and I have got a confirmed addmission in both these colleges but I ended up choosing this college due to it being more affordable. The admission process is fairly linear and simple, the college accepts admission based on NEET UG and JEE marks and also has its own entrance exam and the cutoff is determined by the number of applicants. Most students prefer to take admission based on the college entrance exam marks since the difficulty level is easy.

A Brilliant Overview of DYPBBI form the Eye of a Not Yet Graduate Dude

The location of the college is quite easily accessible and the area around it, albeit a construction nightmare, has everything one would require for recreation and lodging
The labs are well equipped and many more have been added over the last year due to redevelopment of the original building, this benefitting the newer batches

Dislikes

The infrastructure for conducting large scale events in the campus doesn't exist, so freshers need to forget amazing college fests. Also there is no space for any sort of sports and students have to frequently rely on medical campus which is far.
The process to get anything done in this college is overly time consuming and requires the student to wait after hours for days on end just for them to realise that it has been postponed to the next day, this is valid for every document.

Admission:

I also applied for the DY Patil Akurdi branch which offered B.Tech in Biotechnology with a similar fee structure and even got into it, I changed to DYPBBI due to the unique Integrated course they offered which provided a Masters degree in a 5 years course. The addmission process is quite straightforward and is hassle free most of the time as the college looks after it with great interest. They mostly require the 12 pass certificate along with a minimum 60% marks in the 12 board exam. NEET /JEE/ MHTCET were also considered during my time of addmission.

Admission:

I really don't apply for any other college i just know that this is the college and i need to get the admission in it. The admission process is so easy the faculty help through every step. Firatly we need to apply for the entrance exam after qualified in ebtrance exam we get the official letter of admission from administration. And then we need to submit the documents.

Course Curriculum Overview:

There are adequate amount of teachers for the number of students and subjects. Most of the faculty have a PhD and others have a masters with teaching experience. There is a mix of good teachers and teachers that are not able to teach well. The teaching method of PowerPoint presentations is very boring. The exams are conducted well. There are internals and externals placed appropriately throughout each semester. It is not difficult to pass, one can easily score great marks. There are marks for attendance as well.

No, the institute does not conduct JEE Main examination for the B. Tech admission. It conducts AIBTCET for admission. You are required to score a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2.
