Which is better, VNIT Nagpur or IIIT Allahabad, for the ECE branch?

One of my acquaintances has a better opinion on the same. He says that if you opt to take admission at IIIT Allahabad, then you are more likely to have better opportunities in the IT field. Mostly, the students of ECE are thoroughly engaged in coding and are known to study ECE because of reasons that center around only graduating. While, on the flip side, in VNIT Nagpur, the students pursue ECE because they are interested in it. However, the placements of IT field are more likely to surpass the number of placements seen in ECE fields. This is because the core hardware companies relatively do not share the same amount of trust with the freshers. If you want to obtain a better salary package after graduating from a B.Tech course, then going for IIIT, Allahabad can be a superior option. While, if you relevantly want to pursue your career in most of the core ECE companies, then it is suggested that you opt for VNIT, Nagpur. Fee structure is pretty simple it's something 62000 per semester in which you can apply for scholarship according to you income if it's less 8 lakhs then you have to pay 2/3 of the fees and if you have less than 1lakh then full fee waiver option is there and for sc/st students its full fee waiver

My full year fee is Rs 135000,which is Rs 67500 per semister. this fee includes Rs62500 as tution fees ,Rs 250 as registration fees,Rs 375 as library fee,Rs 625 as student activity fees,Rs 1250 as sports fee, Rs 375 as internert and computer maintainance ee, Rs 200 as training and placement fee , Rs1500 as developement fee, Rs500 end semister examination fee, Rs 150 as industry institute interaction fee. the students whose family income is less than 1 lac per annum gets full tution fee back as remission.sc st and pwd candidated do not have to pay tution fee. 100 percent tution fee remission to those whose family income is less than 1 lac per annum . 100 percent tution fee waiver to SC , ST and PWD candidates.

Hectic from 2nd year onwords the curriculun gets hectic.

VNIT Nagpur tuition fee for Btech program is 62500 per semester for general / general-ews /obc /ncl students whereas for St Sc student it is a out 5k per semester. The facilities areworth the fees as a dayskies.

Life at VNIT

The fees for the final semester of B.Tech in our college is a total of 68,475 . Internet and computer maintenance fee - 375 Tuition fee - 62500 Training and placement fee - 200 Industry institute interaction fee - 150 Convocation fee - 750 Development fee-1500 End semester examination fee -500 Student activities fee- 625 Sports fee -1250 Registration fees-250 Library fee-375 This is the fees for a general category student. Now for SC/ST the tuition fee is waived off. And if you are from OBC or low income then on submitting the income certificate your fee can get reimbursed but it takes a lot of time.

VNIT NAGPUR : The All You Need To Know

VNIT accepts feese according to semester. And the prices for each semester are decided at start of every semester.The feese varies from 60k-70k. College also provides lot of scholarship benifits to the eligible candidates as there are many scholarship for SC and ST categories. The scholarship for Merit Students,scorlarships for ews and obc students,etc. There are a number of scholarship options given by VNIT. Also VNIT provides fee remission option according to the income of parents.

I have entered this college through DASA quota. It's a different quota for students in abroad. It's a good opportunity for people like us to join a prestigious NIT like VNIT. Is really worth it. There are numerous scholarships available here.
