DTU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the end of 6th, sem students become eligible to sit for campus placements. All major companies visit our campus from July-August till the very next year but major big companies come till December and then from Jan.For ECE core we have Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, NXP Semiconductor, Synopsys, Google Hardware, Microsoft Hardware, Ciena, STM microelectronics, Western Digital, Jio, Airtel Samsung, among others. The best package is offered by the Core companies starting from 8lpa to 64 LPA. On average, a core student can easily get a 17lpa provided he studied regularly and did the core subjects well. They offer a variety of profiles from analog, digital, mixed circuit, RND, applications eng. etc. Nearly all students get placed either in the core, Tech, or nontech companies as we are the only branch reliable for most (nearly 95% ) of the companies. Many students also prefer to go for higher ed. in the states or other they too get a preference for being from a tier 1 college like DTU

Placements in our college are very good. In fact, they are just after the top iit's a matter of placement. You can go for on-campus internships from the prefinal year and for placement, you can apply from the final year. Many companies came to our college. Almost all the students got placed who go for it.

I choose this course because my parents told me that to choose this course the student ratio in our college is 35 to 1 with the teacher's teaching method is very appropriate and beneficial for all the student terms exams is difficult to pass and tell you throughout reading or study the subject.

A tech branch is what I always wanted. It provides the best opportunities in every imaginable career aspect. Faculty: student ratio is well maintained. Every faculty has certainly been provided with some load but overall it does not hamper the quality of teaching. The faculty is very very highly qualified. Most of my faculty have done their master's or phd degrees abroad. However, their phd scholars or MTech scholars lack similar qualities, unlike the faculty. 2 exams: midsemester exam and end-semester exam. The difficulty was moderate. Not difficult to pass. Not easy to get a full score.

For campus placement students are able to sit in these from the start of 4th year. Placement is not an issue for the DTU because every year there are good placements. Every single company visit DTU. From FAANG to startups. From Microsoft to adobe. 80-90% of students got placed with good packages. The highest package is 64lac(apple) domestic. I didn't have knowledge of the international packages. The average package is 12-15 lac.

Placement is the highlight of this college. Recently it had an average package of around 15 lakhs, with the highest of around 1.27 cr. Hence placement wise it's very good. You'll get enough opportunities here.

DTU is one of the top engineering colleges in India. ranked at 54th position under overall category and 36th under engineering category by NIRF 2021 report.the interim placement report has been released and according to the report, students received highest ctc of INR 1.09 Crore.

In the first year, we all branch have common subjects, after that from 2nd year, our subjects taught by our campus depends upon the branch to branch. The faculty Ratio is nice in that for every 5 students campus has a teacher to deal with. My campus faculties are highly qualified that hold Docterarte Degrees and are highly appreciated in the research field. My exam happened 3 times per sem.

The placements are top-notch with one of the highest placement stats all over India. Big MNCs and startups start visiting campus for internships around the end of 2nd year and placements around the end of 3rd year. Around 400 companies visit every year for placements with the highest package of 64 LPA (offered by Apple). around 80% of students get placed in all and 90%+ for CS IT departments.

DTU is a very prestigious university and is certainly in the league of top IITs and NITs in terms of placement. For the year 2021-2022, the placement percentage was very high around 97%. The highest international offer was a whooping 1.84 Crore per annum by Palantir (London). The highest domestic offer was 64 LPA by Apple (India). The average package was 15.3 LPA. The top recruiters include Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Facebook, Uber, TCS, Apple, Flipkart, Deloitte, and Adobe.
