Panjab University Chandigarh Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The placement at uiet chandgarh is quite decent and steadily improving , especially in core branches . Students become eligile for in campus placements from 7th semester . Some big companies also comes for placement like infosys , wipro ,tcs,accenture , ibm.

The curriculum is based of the current industry patterns and is really good . There could be areas of improvements in terms of first year subjects but other than that its very good . the frequency of exams is good and sufficient time is given . they are of moderate level depending on the subject teachers

students become eligible for placement from 7th semester companies like Infosys, joshtech and cognizant visit the campus offering Roles in software development, testing, web development, BDE and sales, the highest package is around 12 - 14 LPA with an average of 4-5 LPA, nearly 60 to 70% of students are secure jobs.

In 7th sem companies started to visit our college and in 8th sem placed students go for internship in their placed companies. Till now IT branch got most oncampus placement then CSE. Highest is always above 50LPA and avg. is approx 10LPA.

On campus placement are quiet good and average packages are around 7 loa and highest is 13 lpa on campus , and off campus packages are very good areound 24 lpa package are cracked by the studenta in comoanies like cisco

The placements are average getting 70-80% students placed with a average package of about 5-6 LPA and highest packages are 9-12 LPA. The students are eligible for applying in placements from the 7th semester onwards. In 2024, 25 companies joined on campus placements program and approximate about 60 offers are offered. 55 students get placed on-campus in companies like Infosys, Quark, Xenon Stack, Pie Infotech, Chic Mic, Growth Natives, Josh technologies, etc. Also a student got off campus 25 LPA package from Cisco.

Students become eligible only after the 8th sem and placements are quite decent looking at the college the highest placement here was around 25 lpa on campus and 42 lpa off campus. Many good companies visit our college as well

Based on the branch, our course is well structured but there are some subjects which are irrelevant and not required for IT domain. Overall course structure is well defined in terms of our curriculum. Some subjects in IT is different from cse

Placement start in 7th sem. Students do not jave placements record but companies like ibm, tcs, amazon, deloitte, cisco come for non core and tat mahindra kpmg gemini etc come for the core branches. The highest on campus package is of amex which is afound 14lpa. By the end of placement drives almost all students are placed. My plans after uni are not decided

From 7th semesters the student is eligible for campus placement.total 20 companies visited every year and 100 offers made by company. The highest placement is 1400000 and avg placement is 6 lakh.The total 80 percent student get placed every year.my plan after degree is get placed or prepareing for government jobs.
