Course Curriculum Overview

The curriculum is overall good and here is also placement training for 6 months in 3rd year and you got an internship for 6 months in college in your 3rd year. The course curriculum is not so advanced it need to be updated.the exam level not so difficult.

Placement Experience

From 7th semesters the student is eligible for campus placement.total 20 companies visited every year and 100 offers made by company. The highest placement is 1400000 and avg placement is 6 lakh.The total 80 percent student get placed every year.my plan after degree is get placed or prepareing for government jobs.

Fees and Financial Aid

The total tution fee is 400000.its registration fee for jac chandigarh counselling is 2800 and after seat allotment you need to pay 40000 first then go to college for physical reporting and done for first semester. Nothing to pay anything for 1st semester after this.

Campus Life

The tech festival held here is shor.my fest conducted here. Here is a library and here all the needy books available here. Every lab is available here. And intet sports tournament is conducted here by college. Many societies run by students here like tech society, dance society. etc

Hostel Facilities

Here is all the room of non ac and very low room available here not all students get hostel. They need to take private hostel or pg available out of campus of Collegesbut if u get hostel it is very affordable. Here locality is overall good

Admission

I choose this college for other is here i got cse and it branch at very low rank and here is also apply your category benefit and for ews candidates here si 75 percent tuition fee weaved off. So i choose the college. The admission pocess is first you neex to fill jac chandigarh counselling and fill choice filling then if got this college then pay seat acceptance fee of 40000 anf need to go for physical reporting.

Faculty

The faculty to student ratio is good but class is not continuing by faculty. The best faculty is vinay sir.there is 2 exam in a semester but only one is counting which is good like jee mains. Here is 50 marks internal paper and 50 marks external paper. Total 100 marks paper for 1 semester. Its passing marks is 40 out of 100

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.

Peaceful and green campus of PUSSGRC

Firstly I have applied for Himachal Pradesh Technical Univeristy, Hamirpur, before joining Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. I got CSE there, but left because the placement scenario is not as I expected, as it is a new college and still progressing, while UIET, PUSSGRC has a good placement scenario of 70-80% placements and has a good reputation. Admission to this college is on the basis of JEE Main exam and by appling JAC Chandigarh Counselling.
