Faculty, library, mess, and all the seniors
Classrooms are huge, administrator are good
Hostels are very good and nice, well maintained and all the staff members are well behaved

Campus is too short than we all expected.

Course Curriculum Overview

The decision to choose this is not so bad. The curriculum helps me to get so many practical knowledge and lots of technical skills. The frequency of exams are goods and the leave after the exams are good approx (1-1.5 months).

Fees and Financial Aid

There is hike in fees is like 10k per year and 114k per year fee for this cource. There is one best thing that is you no need to worry much for fee bcoz it is good and kinda worth it. The college have some financial aid and scholarships like single child scholarship, ews scholarship.

Campus Life

The library of this college is good. It has lot of books. And good campus life. The only problem is that the campus is not so big. But seniors are good and have good societies is best. There is literary society named Varta, Tech society named Platform, Drama Society named Shor and all

Admission

The eligibility of this course is that you need a decent rank in jee mains after that you have to apply for jac Chandigarh counseling. You will got admission in this college even if you have much low percentile.for the decent percentile you'll get cse and it branches (90 %tile).

Brief About NITJ

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for campus placement in their final year (7th semester). only a few companies made no offers. I can recall only 1 name Nation with NAMO. highest package in Civil branch was 14LPA. Average is 6LPA. for all branches highest was 42LPA with average 12 LPA. placement % is 60-80 among all branches which is improving every year. I am planning for higher education.

True experience of a SLIET Student

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose this course as I was interested in Robotics and my parents wanted me to take a core branch. The curriculum is not very relevant but some topics are good and related like modern welding technologies and manufacturing techniques. I think our college curriculum needs to be updated where more new world technologies like AR and VRs should be taught with advance robotics. Teaching methods used are classical I think professors should try to use smart classrooms to visualise the concept to make it better understandable. Exams are moderate level but I think our college needs to reduce exam frequency although we have time but due to exams nearly every month it doesn't feel good.

Peaceful and green campus of PUSSGRC

Firstly I have applied for Himachal Pradesh Technical Univeristy, Hamirpur, before joining Panjab University Swami Sarvanand Giri regional Centre, Hoshiarpur. I got CSE there, but left because the placement scenario is not as I expected, as it is a new college and still progressing, while UIET, PUSSGRC has a good placement scenario of 70-80% placements and has a good reputation. Admission to this college is on the basis of JEE Main exam and by appling JAC Chandigarh Counselling.
