- Hostel mess food can not be suitable for those students who had some medical problems
- There is only some issue with the problem of water logging just infornt of hostel during heavy rain.it's only of few steps but it feels frustrating when you are to go out and you have cross this.

UIET Kurukshetra Admission
University Institute of Engineering and Technology Kurukshetra offers B.Tech., M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs in various specializations, in the field of Engineering and Technology. All the admissions in UIET are based on National Level Entrance Tests such as JEE Main for UG and GATE for PG.
How To Apply?
Students desirous to apply for admission at UIET can follow the below procedure:
- Give JEE or GATE exams and receive merit rank.
- Apply on the college website, by starting new application. Complete registration and email ID verification.
- Complete all details as required in the application form. Pay the application fee of INR 600.
- Candidate should fill in all the details required and take a print out of Admission Application form, submit in the college admin office.
UIET Kurukshetra Placement
UIET Kurukshetra also has a dedicated training and placement cell which organizes pre-placement activities for students, to prepare them, and to boost their confidence as well as providing them with job opportunities. There is a significant rise in the number of students placed every year which shows the success of the placement cell. The average starting annual salaries in Wipro and Infosys have been 3.25 to 2.5 lakh per annum for 2018-19.

UIET Kurukshetra Scholarship
To provide financial assistance to the students belonging to the economically weak section of the society, there are scholarships available like Central Merit Scholarship, State Scholarships, Minority scholarship, to name a few.
But mostly scholarship is provided to students of other backward classes, ST, SC, and OBC.
Also, the PG Scholarship of INR 8000 per month is available to all GATE qualified students except Material Science and Technology.
Few Merit Fellowship, Assistantship is also available to non GATE students of INR 6,000 per month from the TEQIP-II for the duration of the project subject to availability of funds.

The facilities available for the students during their tenure with the college are mentioned below:
- Laboratories: The college has Hi-Tech Laboratories for students to apply their theoretical knowledge, practice, and conduct experiments.
- Library: The Library has a collection of more than 3,23,500 volumes of books regarding the field of Engineering and Technology. The Library has 160 desktops for students and research scholars so that they can access approximately 4500 e-journals and other e-resources.
- Hostels: The University has a total of 22 Hostels. 9 for Boys, 1 for foreign male students, and 12 for Girls with a capacity of 2,500 girls and 2,000 boys accommodations.
- Dharohar Museum: There is a museum, established in the university dedicated to the preservation of the region's cultural heritage, is now a nationally recognized institution.
- Auditorium: The college auditorium has a good seating capacity maximum of total 2500 and is fully air-conditioned for the host seminars, cultural programs.

I applied in ymca, mdu , du and kurukshetra university I choose this university because of my sister. She was doing btech mechanical engineering and she told me about the facilities and placements thats why I choose this university

- The college faculty is very nice. They help each and every student in every aspect. They are very dependable.
- The placement cell also remains active throughout the year. the average package is also okay.
Dislikes
- The exam schedule remains a little bit late. That's why the semester also starts a littla bit late.
- The girls to boys ratio is also quiet poor. It's like 5:12

I choose this college because of the average package and because someone recommended it to me. The admission process is very simple. You have to register on HSTES site. Then select for the college and course you want to opt for. If you clear the cutoff then you will recieve an admission slip on the site. Then come to the college to submit fees and confirm addmission.

i chose this college only for its affordability and accessiblity .i had tried to take admission in chandigarh university because in that univeristy there are fests ,interaction opportunities .i guess i could become a better social student as compared to my university.no i didnt get any rejection from any college.the admission process is simple .You have to first apply on hstes site which is government site and after applying there you get automatically selected as per your jee rank .

the student must have completed 12th class their are direct 12 th basis admision and they accept jee marks also the allotment of the couse depends upon the raks an individual scores the application form are present on the university website as well they admission can be done in the HSSC counselling session which happen in the month of july to augest after the jee exams The reservation benefits are also their for SC, ST ,OBC, EWS categories the exams which college conduct are not so easy but not so difficult at same time But they don't give marks to the student
Admission:
Eligibility of this course is 12th pass with good percentage and a good rank in JEE MAINS. The application form and other details can be found on website or at Institute itself. The only improvement to be done in admission is to make the process faster.
