University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) was established by the Kurukshetra University for providing quality education in Engineering and Technology in Haryana. With the five departments, the institute offers B.Tech, M.Tech, and PhD programs. All the admissions in UIET KUK are based on National Level Entrance Tests such as JEE Main and GATE. However, the admission to B.Tech (LEET) will be done based on the OLET (OnLine Entrance Test conducted by the state government. Applicants can apply online for such programs.

Eligibility
- For admission in the UIET B.Tech program, a candidate must have passed the 10+2 level examination with Physics & Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Computer Application, Computer Science, or Technical Vocational subject as a compulsory subject.
- The minimum age limit for applying for admission in the B.Tech program is 17 years as on 31.12.2021. There is no upper age limit.
Selection Criteria
Students will be selected for admission based on qualifying JEE Main with a valid score followed by counselling sessions.
How to Apply for B.Tech?
Students can apply for B.Tech through applying for JEE Main.
- Visit the website of JEE Main.
- Register for application by clicking on “Apply for JEE Main” under “New Candidate Registration”.
- Enter your Personal and Educational details.
- Submit the application form.
- Make sure to note down the application number generated.
- Upload the required documents.
- Pay the application fee through Credit/ Debit card/ Paytm/ SBI Buddy.
- The fee can also be paid through e-challan. E-challan could be downloaded from the website after the submission of the form and deposit the e-challan at either of these banks ICICI/ HDFC/ Syndicate/ Canara.

- Upload other required documents such as category certificate ( SC/ST/PwD) and/or eligibility certificate if any.
- Enter the GATE paper and choose the examination city.
- Make the payment and submit it.
- Check application status and take a printout.
