UIET CHANDIGARH TRUE REVIEW , based on real experience .

I would rate the curriculum 8.5/10 in terms of relevance and practical knowledge . The course includes subjects which helps in strong foundation building like dsa, dbms, software engineering,etc. The curriculum is well aligned iin accordance to today's world roles and industry requirements.

UIET chandigarh provides good internship opportunities , especially for students who are proactive. While the college encourages internships mainly through off campus and referral based opportunities, several students also secure internships through college linked companies , alumni networks, and govermnment programs.

The placement at uiet chandgarh is quite decent and steadily improving , especially in core branches . Students become eligile for in campus placements from 7th semester . Some big companies also comes for placement like infosys , wipro ,tcs,accenture , ibm.

For an IT student joining UIET CHANDIGARH in 2025,fees is quiet affordable in comparison to other private colleges offering the same course . If you are from reserved categories then you can also avail more scholarships . Hostels are also very affordable with fees starting from 6000/semester . The institute also has AC classrooms and well maintained labs. The campus is very green ,clean and quiet.Also, merit cum need basis scholarships is also available. If you are an average student you can get package of atleast of 7 - 8 lakhs. Placement is also getting better day by day.Teachers are very qualified and very well natured . But main disadvantage is this institute is in south campus of panjab university and disconnected from the main campus . Also , hostels are in main campus while classrooms are in soouth campus . Main thing is not everyone gets hostel here as ther eis only limited seats of hostel available . Year wise fees for general students is approx 570000 and lesser for reserved category students.Overall , according to fees and study , it is a decent college.

My overall experience with campus life at UIET chandigarh has been very positive and enriching .The annual cultural fest "GOONJ" is usually held during the spring seester and is one of the most awaited events.There are also clubs which focuses on social aspects of life.

I chose uiet chandigarh because of its strong academic reputation, affordable fee structure , and assocciation with panjab university. compared to many private colleges uiet provide better return on investments especially for core branches.

The faculty to student ratio is balanced . The faculty members are really helpful and give time to their students . They are easily approachable and willing to help as much as they can . They resolve doubts and are there for students when they are in need . I really liked studing from my programming fundamentals faculty arshdeep singh and my maths faculty Mrs kalpana maam . They really inspired me with their way of teaching .

Night life at UIET chandiagrh is not very well, hostel have fixed timings usually around 10 - 11 pm , gym remains open until (8-9 ) pm . But the PU library stays open late during exam days making it very popular late night study spot.
