Likes
- Teaching faculty is good.the teachers here are experienced and have a lot of knowledge regarding their respective subjects and are helpful and keen to teach
- Technical fest and other tour like shimla,manali,is great opportunity to explore
- Course is well designed for bachelor of engineering not extra subject here which was not use in our future in other universities 2years physics,maths are compulsory but here it is not.syllabus and curriculum are very good here.faculty are good here.
Dislikes
- The course curriculum can be demanding and require a lot of hard work from students.
- Overall the course is beneficial from the future perspective but the teachers that are in the branch are the most hated part .
- The teachers no doubt teach good but the behaviour they show towards children is depressing for me till now.

Likes
- Teaches are very well qualified and ground to earth, they teach very well and also take doubts.
- Classrooms are well lighted and ventilated . It also has AC classrooms for students of 2 nd year and above.
- Infrastructure is very nice, all labs are well maintained. Labs for higher studies is also avaialable making studies more practical.
Dislikes
- It is basically disconnected from main campus of panjab university,
- Hostel room are not quite big and also very far from classroom
- The quality of students are not up to the mark .
Placement Experience:
The placement at uiet chandgarh is quite decent and steadily improving , especially in core branches . Students become eligile for in campus placements from 7th semester . Some big companies also comes for placement like infosys , wipro ,tcs,accenture , ibm.

- The teachers are very helpful and help students in any way they can .
- The social life is very good with a lot of clubs and helpful seniors .
Dislikes
- There is no coding environment .
- Students can get distracted from the city culture
- be prepared to be around some unsober students
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is based of the current industry patterns and is really good . There could be areas of improvements in terms of first year subjects but other than that its very good . the frequency of exams is good and sufficient time is given . they are of moderate level depending on the subject teachers

- Teachers are very highly qualified and come from even IITs
- There is a huge diversity in the college like you will see almost every state
- The fees is very affordable to any of the category
Dislikes
- The college is not located in the city area
- The college campus is small like few blocks
- There are only 3 blocks and civil engineering and many more domain are absent
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum is mostly based on theoretical aspects as the course itself is bachelor of engineering there can be more practical aspects but the overall difficulty level is medium i would say and these are durable

- the teaching staff is well qualified and the way of explaining the concepts is appreciable.
- there is a well managed library and the librarians are all very cooperative.
- there are many clubs( societies: example debsoc, SAE for coding, autonomy, photography, social welfare , bhangra etc) that help in personal development and increase interaction with others . this also improves our communication skills.
Dislikes
- the girls to boys ratio is quite low, the most negative aspect of any engineering college. in our class we have only 10 girls and 50 boys approximately
- the infrastructure is not very appreciable and there is nothing much to explore in the college campus which makes life at college a bit boring. also the college has a very small campus.
- less companies come for recruitment in core jobs of that particular course.
Placement Experience:
the placements are offered for CSE ANDD IT related branches at a large extent. the core placements for all other branches are very less or negligible. the students become eligible for campus placements after the completion of fourth year only. companies such as cisco, servicenow, kpmg and zs associates etc have visited and over 300 students git campus selection.the highest package is of 40 lakh and average is of 7 lakh.

- Campus life is best students get chance to interact with different departments students
- Students politics is major highlight cause it helps one to understand there voting right and value of one vote
Dislikes
- Can be seprate hostel for each departments
- There is no such bad thing that I came across then monkeys in University campus near hostels
- No shop is open in University after 9 pm

In our college students need to have 6CGPA to still in campus placements and our college have a Club that overseas all the placement oppertunityies and the placement starts from 7th semester onwards when students starts there seventy semester the company's starts visiting campus for placement and internship opportunity as well

- All are friendly. There is no ragging in college or hostels
- It is in Chandigarh, so you can visit many places.
- Great Alumini network, all alumini are in famous companies.
Dislikes
- Only some students are able to get hostels.
Placement Experience:
In 7th sem companies started to visit our college and in 8th sem placed students go for internship in their placed companies. Till now IT branch got most oncampus placement then CSE. Highest is always above 50LPA and avg. is approx 10LPA.

- One the things I like the most is boys hostel no 8/7
- One thing I like the most is the building and structure of gandhi bhavan

- The thing I dislike the most is the boys hostel no 6/1
- Food of students.centre was also one thing that I dislike tha most
- Building of my college that was block 3 that was hated by most students

Yes,very good college placements are available in our college.Students of 8 semester that is 4th year students are eligible for campus placement
Companies such as TCS,wipro,amex,gemini solutions and etc many more companies are there for placement
60-80% students got placed in the companies with an average package of 8 lakhs and with a highest package of 35 lakhs
Iam oriented towards govt jobs and in future if I will be interested in coding sector I will do preparation for off campus and specifically for Rubrik

- Peer group is good out there. Seniors are very helpful and quite approachable as well.
- Uiet building is situation in Panjab University campus which is a plus point as you can explore campus.
- Labs are very quipped and teachers are also approachable as well

Placement do occur in the college. It's average package is around 7.5, lakh. Since I am the first year right now, I don't have data to support the placement record, but some of my seniors of fourth year are getting placed. One of my IT senior got placed for 14 LPA and other other, my Cse senior got placed for around 12 LPA. so opportunities are there for those who want to do something

- The Panjab University campus is very vast and beautiful. It is a very good place for social interaction. Also it is very close to Pgi amd different markets . So life is very good amd chill here .
- Teachers and professors are very helping and supporting. Most of them help you with your problems .
- Scope for overall development including different sports and clubs . It leads to personality development and leadership skills . Placement is also good .
Dislikes
- All the branches do not have good placement record . If you want to get placed , make sure to get a good branch like it , cse or ece .
- Girl is to boy ratio is not that good in college . In university, the ratio is very gud and balanced but uiet do not have good ratio
- There is no such thing as senior and junior interaction in college . Seniors will only approach you during election time or if you are a part of amy club . If you want general senior junior interaction, very few seniors are helpful.
Placement Experience:
Placement are good , not very best . The average package here is 7 to 8 lakh . If you are in tech branches you might get a higher package. Many companies visit the campus . The highest package here is around 45 lakh . Most of the highpackagejobs are off campus . Students also prepare for gate and other competative exams

- Campus is beautiful, labs are good, infrastructure is good
- Various clubs are also here for social interaction. In my batch boys to girl ratio in 13:1
- Placements are very good 80-90% . Various MNCs visit here every year
Dislikes
- The EEE branch of this college is worst, faculties are quite egoistic, a huge no of students fail in each semester, but not in another branches. Avg cg of eee students is 6 but in another branches it is 9
- Engagement with life is good all branches instead of EEE.
- No personal development programmes organised by college
Placement Experience:
After 6th sem companies start visiting the campus. In 2023, 85 companies visited but this time the no. is double. Amex kpmg delloite paytm zs associates etc visits here. Highest on campus placement is 20lpa and average package is 6-7 lpa. 80-90% are placed every year rest are EEE MECH and BIOTECH students.
