UIET Chandigarh Scholarship 2026: Amount, Eligibility, Selection Criteria

The college offers a variety of scholarships primarily aimed at supporting students from economically weaker sections (EWS), SC/ST, OBC, and other reserved categories. EWS students with a family income below INR 1 lakh receive a full fee waiver, while EWS category students pay a significantly reduced fee of approximately INR 5,000 to INR 6,000 per year. Scholarships are available for branch toppers, single girl children, and students with a merit-based performance.

For GATE scholars, a stipend of INR 12,000 is provided by the central government. There is no scholarship for general category students due to Haryana government rules. UIET CHANDIGARH TRUE REVIEW , based on real experience .

Fees and Financial Aid:

For an IT student joining UIET CHANDIGARH in 2025,fees is quiet affordable in comparison to other private colleges offering the same course . If you are from reserved categories then you can also avail more scholarships . Hostels are also very affordable with fees starting from 6000/semester . The institute also has AC classrooms and well maintained labs. The campus is very green ,clean and quiet.Also, merit cum need basis scholarships is also available. If you are an average student you can get package of atleast of 7 - 8 lakhs. Placement is also getting better day by day.Teachers are very qualified and very well natured . But main disadvantage is this institute is in south campus of panjab university and disconnected from the main campus . Also , hostels are in main campus while classrooms are in soouth campus . Main thing is not everyone gets hostel here as ther eis only limited seats of hostel available . Year wise fees for general students is approx 570000 and lesser for reserved category students.Overall , according to fees and study , it is a decent college.

A Students perspective of Uiet Chandigarh

The year wise fees is 125000 . It is payed around 40000 in the odd semester and 85000 in the even semester . The college fees is increasing at 10percent every year for new grads. There is no reservation on fees for SC/ST students but the students with ews have a 75 percent relief .

The fees of the course is one lakh twenty thousand and there is various scholarship provided by the college and you will get extra benefits if you are a reservation student like belong to category like EWS

my college: pros and cons

at the time of the admission, we have to pay an amount of 40000. this will be considered as the fee for your first semester (or registration fee).then at the end the first semester we have to deposit rupees 81000, which is the fee of your second semester. so in total for all four years, the course fee can range fron 5 to 6 lakh. the fee remains same for all other courses as well. scholarships are provided purely on the basis of merit.

We have to pay every year total amount around which keeps increasing every year and it was one lakh twenty thousand which we have to pay in two installments one is seventy thousand and the second one will be around thirty or forty thousand rupees taken and we have to pay examination fe seprate for every semester which was three thousand

My Personal Review

First year fee is 115000 and it increases year by year. You only have to pay tution fee and exam fee. And registration fee at the time of admission. There are many scholorships you can apply. As for scholorship you have to check yourself

Saga of my life

As there are 2 semesters in 1st year and fee structure for 1st installment we have to submit 40000 that was taken during the time of registration and second installment was taken during the time of December that was around 81000 in the 1st year there was not any type of relaxation in the fee structure but exceptions were there for TWS children Various scholarships and financial aids were provided by our college like scholarships for TWS students and there were also some scholarship in which exams were taken to give financial aid

I paid 40000 as seat acceptance fee during JAC Chandigarh counselling which was further adjusted in my college fee. Later on, 81000 rs was paid and that combined fee is my first year fee. Ews category can get some relaxation according to income. No such exemption for sc/st

Fees is around 450000 for one semester and around 35000 is activity charge which is paid annually. Also there are different fees for students applied under different categories.Also there is fees relaxation under various schemes like single parents , freedom fighter etc .

UIET Panjab University Chandigarh College, Hostel and Campus review

Annual fee structure is divided in 2 installments per year. 60% fee in 1st sem and 40% in next sem. Annual fee is gradually increasing year by year. All types of scholarship accepted here, they do not provide any. Only ews fee in 20% of total fee, the rest other have to pay full fee
