The teachers are friendly with the students and i have the best learning experience in there.
The facilities gauhati university is providing and the infrastructure. teachers try to provide as much information as they can. the campus is so peaceful. hostels facilities are so good. gauhati university provides good health and medical facilities
The courses are very good as they probide a vast selection of them.

Dislikes

There was no entrance exam for us, it was online registration and merit list was provided, there was no entrance exam for us.
Some teacher are very good and some are so bad in behavior and teaching so i dislike some teachers.
Teachers are not good in teaching they are also bad behavior.

The college environment, the faculty members, the teaching ways, the infrastructure, internships facilities, etc

Dislikes

The ground is a bit crowded which makes the college campus less accessible for sports and other activities.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very good where the studentsget to experience the real life legal situation. The college has many seminars where many renowned speaks and other legal professionals come to give lecture on various topics of law which helps the students to learn more about the different fields of law. There are also legal aid camps where the students get to know the legal situation in underdeveloped regions and provide free legal services. The college also organises court visits, moot court competitions, legal debates etc which helps the students to enhance their rwuired skills in this course. However there can be some improvements in the moot courts competition by encouraging the students and giving them flexibility to participate in the competition without being bias. The exams are conducted timely in the mid of the month and the difficulty level is prominent for any law student in this college.

Likes

I like the environment also the Teaching staff and the infrastructure of the college which help the students to focus more in studies
I like the place and the environment and every one is so gentle and respected
They keep the water in college where we can drink when we want to that is also what I like the most because we cannot always buy or go home to get the drinking water

Dislikes

I don't like the smell of the drainage which makes me loose motion and also sickness like coughing and throat
The humidity is very humid I use to feel sleepy couldn't concentrate in studies
The college campus is too small for the co curriculum activities

This is a law college and I joined because I love the legal process and also I believe in fair and justice As everyone is so concern and rush for the civil services I choose to be a lawyer because it is also important to study law if there is no student who is interested for law thn we how will the constitution be

Students generally become eligible for campus placements from the final year of their law course. The college invites variousaw firms, corporate companies, NGOs, and sometimes government recruiters for placement drives.

JB Law College, Guwahati : A fairly decent law school in Guwahati

The teachers and the faculties are really awesome
The non teaching staffs are very good and polite
The students are really amazing. They're jolly

Dislikes

The canteen is absolute dog shit. Foods are not even edible
There are no co curricular activities in the campus
Very poor infrastructure. Toilets don't have water

As its a law school. Students either go for litigation or give AJS Grade III after completing of the courses. There's no direct in campus placement. But Guwahati High Court, District Courts, CJM Courts are among the top recruiters

WHY YOU AS ASPIRING LAWER SHOULD CHOOSE J.B. LAW COLLEGE. A GENUINE REVIEW.

Likes

The teachers are very friendly and teach very enthuchistically.
Proper attendance record is maintained along with the proper dress code.
College canteen provides a variety of food options starting feom simple tea to full meals including non-veg options.

Dislikes

The college campus is comparatively small and there is minimum place to walk around.
The college doesn't have any sports or physical activity curriculum. This is a big issue as physical wellbeing is as important as academic wellbeing.
The college authority is very inefficient in providing notice when the teacher is unable to take the class. And the management is not good at regularly cleaning the washrooms.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This is one on the most highly appreciated cources one can perusue gor a life of honour. B.A.LL.B course is easy but has very high returns of a secure future. After this course one can go for becoming a judge by given AGS exam or practice as a professional lawer. One exam is heald every semester,i.e., theo exams every semester. The exams are easy and can easily get passing marks if studied regularly.

Perfect University for Law Students

Likes

Friendly faculty. The faculty is very friendly and they help us in a great manner in accordance of every aspect. Be it cpurse selection, subject matter or the exam preparations. They help us in a thorough manner.
The campus is very healthy. There are canteens and there are multiple playgrounds to help students enjoy their free time.
The curriculum is very useful. It helps students to get through most of the universities and they conduct multiple inter college festivals to keep us engaged with the subjects we are studying.

Dislikes

The canteen food is little costly and the prices can be covered by government funds.
The fee structure is not affordable for all the students, if the fees can be covered through more scholarships, many students will be able to study.
The hostel facility is less than the requirements which is why students had to stay in Paying guests.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is perfect for them who wishes to advance 1 year in their law degree, usually the degree takes 6 years after 12th, however this integration makes this course of 5 years, 10 semesters which helps reduce 1 year to the students. The curriculum is based on present law structures and very helping in the law background.

College infrastructure i like the most and the teaching faculty i like the college also have a canteen and hich also i guess i can say i like basically you can consider it as a good college only you can go for it if you arr searching for a decent cll
Good college have their own field too and parking also
Teaching faculty is nice and very friendly

Dislikes

Surrounding is not that good people’s mentality is cheap
No extra curricular activities are performed
College is not that hygienic it should be hygienic

The positive things about our college is very good academic environment.
Teaching stuff is very supportive and well trained

Dislikes

Infrastructure should be more developed.
We don't have any student union body to represent us.
We don't have any Air conditioner. During summar it cause problem

Likes

There are many things about the college which I like for example the teaching staff are very good .
Another things is a good academic Environment.
The college campus and canteen is so clean and hygienic .

Dislikes

The Infrastructure Should be more devloped.
There are no AC in Classrooms and during Summer it causes a lot of tension
There is no college union in for which there os no transparency

One of my friends graduated from Gauhati University. According to her, it’s a decent university.

Faculty: The faculties are dedicated. They may seem strict at first, but you can approach them, regarding your problems.

Curriculum: The course curriculum is up-to-date. You can even follow the syllabus for various entrance tests.

Classes: Classes are held regularly. The institute is also strict regarding attendance.

Co-curricular: Different co-curricular activities are held around the academic year.

The environment on campus is great for studies. The university has been accredited with NAAC A grade. Overall it can be a great place to pursue your studies.
