Competent faculty. I never expected professors to be this passionate about their fields here. Everyone takes their work really seriously. I don't think I can remember the last time they have cancelled any class in a working day.
Labs are well equiped, at least have been till now. Never felt there was a shortage of any machine.

Dislikes

Frequent power cuts is one of the worst aspects here. There's tremendous scope of improvement although and it's being done at lightning speed.
Placements: Despite being a CFTI, placements haven't been up to the mark and don't do justice to its tag.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester onwards, students start preparing for placements and entrance exams. Siemens Energy, TCS, Wipro, Amazon, Cognizant and other multinational companies visit for placements. About 50% of the students are placed every year.

Liked the facility of central library very efficient and very helping in education purpose
Liked the staff and faculty members which are very good at the subjects and teaching

Dislikes

The mess food is not quite good very plain
The area of the college and asthetics and bit low

Placement Experience:

Student become eligible for campus placement mostly in 4 year some might in 3 year companies visited well know in the past years average package upto 10L but still the percentage of students getting placements are quite low my plans after getting the degree is to appear for GATE

Likes

Teachers are good,experienced and helpful. They teach in easily understandable method. I rarely find any difficulties in classes.
Canteens are also good. They provide foods of good quality.

Dislikes

Toilet systems in the campus are not well maintained.

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Name fo companies: wipro, oil etc. Highest: approx. 20LPA, average: 12LPA percentage of students getting placements: 50-60%

Faculty Members are friendly and they are very helpful. The college us very clean
They provide you guidance through and very much helped me throughout my graduation

Dislikes

The hostel warden is very much rude and aggressive
The air conditioner in the classrooms didn't worked well

Placement Experience:

From 6th Semester onwards the students become eligible for campus placements . There are many comapnies visited in our college like - Godrej , Axis Bank , Mahindra etc. The highest package was from Gorej which was for 5LPA . On the basis of their interviews rounds they were provided the job .

I see we've very good Faculties available in our institute.
The Institute Infrastructure is Developed enough.

Dislikes

As said the infrastructure of our institute is developed enough but some have very low.
Getting Mark sheet very lately, we get it like after 2-3 months after.

Placement Experience:

Well placements of our institution is not that good actually as I've heard, I can see many people do placements more out of campus. But yeah good amount of placements came every year, we can say. The highest placement I ever known is like 1 crore package.

Gauhati Commerce College provides a good internship and placement opportunities for the students.During the 5th and 6th semester , a good number of companies approach the college for fresh graduates. Students have to attend internship classes of the companies and give online interviews to get access for the placements and jobs. Some of the companies which have approached the college are - Federal Bank , Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) , Acmegrade Classes , Tata Strive etc .

The first thing I truly liked is the environment it provided for the students to understand what life truly is and how can we overcome any obstacles.
The second thing I liked is the faculty which helped the students to understand their respective subjects in a great way.

Dislikes

The only thing I didn't liked is that some of the rooms did not had the facility of air conditioning which is very necessary during the summer season.

Placement Experience:

From the final semester students become eligible for campus placement. This year (2024) almost 6 companies visited our college for recruitment. The top companies were Godrej, TCS, Federal Bank and many more. The highest package offered is 3.5-4LPA

The Institute is very good, and its campus is also very good.
The environment and the infrastructure is very beautiful. and its annual program day which is known as "Sanskriti" is also very famous.

Dislikes

At our time we didn't got wifi facility which i think is very imortant for students now a days
We didn't have canteen to which I think is very important because it can save time.

Placement Experience:

The students with good and attractive results can get placement in good sectors. Also a good performance in internship also can give a better placement opportunity. Almost 35% of students get paced from every batch.

Many more good facilities are available.

Dislikes

I disliked nothing there, those were my golden days in that institute.

Placement Experience:

Students can get placements after 4th semester. Many different commercial and government companies visits there. About 50% of students can get placements in different companies. I prefer to take Banking courses.

The college is so cleaned, Very beautiful campus its a amazing whether here good for studies.
Teachers are so helpful they help students in every single steps the academic wise its very good college

Dislikes

The placement cell is not good enough everything is average
The internship criteria is also not good enough

Placement Experience:

Average placement rate is 18 lakhs which is the recent situation here come the big MNC but you can get placed on like Wipro, Cisco, Infosys, etc. The cit passout students are also working on big MNC like Facebook, Amazon, Microsoft,etc. Overall its upto you which path students want to take the placement is growing day by day
