Likes
- Friendly faculty. The faculty is very friendly and they help us in a great manner in accordance of every aspect. Be it cpurse selection, subject matter or the exam preparations. They help us in a thorough manner.
- The campus is very healthy. There are canteens and there are multiple playgrounds to help students enjoy their free time.
- The curriculum is very useful. It helps students to get through most of the universities and they conduct multiple inter college festivals to keep us engaged with the subjects we are studying.
Dislikes
- The canteen food is little costly and the prices can be covered by government funds.
- The fee structure is not affordable for all the students, if the fees can be covered through more scholarships, many students will be able to study.
- The hostel facility is less than the requirements which is why students had to stay in Paying guests.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is perfect for them who wishes to advance 1 year in their law degree, usually the degree takes 6 years after 12th, however this integration makes this course of 5 years, 10 semesters which helps reduce 1 year to the students. The curriculum is based on present law structures and very helping in the law background.
Internships Opportunities
Our college provides internship opportunities to the reputable law firms from which we can get the idea how law works and how the justice system holds the country. The advocates are very amazing and brave in their career and they help us in each aspect in the internship.
Fees and Financial Aid
The course is for BALLB and the fee structure is divided into 10 payments per semester basis. We need to pay 16000 per semester to avail the 5 year course. Also there are scholarships as well which I did not fall under. However there are multiple students who are availing the same.
Campus Life
The overall experience is great. The campus is filled with happiness brought by the other students. The canteen is helpful to create friends and to enjoy free time. We have library to study more in this and the classrooms are well equipped with the needed assistance. We have a court room as well to replicate the court environment as well.
Admission
I chose this college because this is one of the prestigious colleges in Assam and it provides multiple facilities such as scholarships, hostel facilities, curricular activities and other amenities as well. The other colleges charge higher amounts and provide less than this one and hence I prefer this college.
Faculty
Usually the there are 120 seats per semester and they are divided by 2 sections. A and B. For each subject 4 teachers are assigned and they provide very amazing learnings to the students. They all are very approachable. The final exam is every semester and 2 internal exams are conducted by university.
Night Life
The night life is very safe here, the girls also can walk in the campus without any issues, the seniors are very helpful and the juniors are friendly. I never seen any issues with the seniors or juniors while being in the campus.
