Likes
- The teachers are very friendly and teach very enthuchistically.
- Proper attendance record is maintained along with the proper dress code.
- College canteen provides a variety of food options starting feom simple tea to full meals including non-veg options.
Dislikes
- The college campus is comparatively small and there is minimum place to walk around.
- The college doesn't have any sports or physical activity curriculum. This is a big issue as physical wellbeing is as important as academic wellbeing.
- The college authority is very inefficient in providing notice when the teacher is unable to take the class. And the management is not good at regularly cleaning the washrooms.
Course Curriculum Overview
This is one on the most highly appreciated cources one can perusue gor a life of honour. B.A.LL.B course is easy but has very high returns of a secure future. After this course one can go for becoming a judge by given AGS exam or practice as a professional lawer. One exam is heald every semester,i.e., theo exams every semester. The exams are easy and can easily get passing marks if studied regularly.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee is to be given at the beginning of every semester,i.e., about 17,000 rs including all the facilities like library. This adds upto nearly 34,000 rs for tge general category students. Scholarships are available which is given under government schemes as the college doesn't have its own scholarship program. But any student who comes from a poor background has the option to avail the government provided scholarship. The college will help out with the proceedings.
Campus Life
There is no sort of annual function although there is sports week. The sports week is heald for about 5 days and a range of sports competition is heald. The college campus doesn't have any sports field of its own as the campus is relatively small compared to other colleges.
Admission
As mentioned earlier the facilities here are the best in class. This college is located at the heart of the city and very easy to reach as there is proper traveling facilities. Although I applied for other colleges but this college was my 1st preference as it has a long history of successful lawers and Judges passing out from this same college.
Faculty
The faculty members of this college is the best among all the colleges in Guwahati. This is one of the key reasons I took admission in this college. The faculty to student ratio is enough as we have one teacher for each subject and have two teacher for family law subject. The faculty are well established with a lot of experience and provide amazing notes. One exam is heald from the college side before the semester exams. The marking scheme for semester exam is 80+20. 80 marks from theory and the other 20 marks is given by the college in accordance to our practical assessment and attendance.
Night Life
There is no night out facilities as such as there is ni hostel in this college. The college campus is small and there is no interesting place inside the campus.the gym and libraries are only open during the class hours,i.e., 10 am to 4 pm
