MIT-WPU is world class!!

Likes

Supportive faculties, decent infrastructure and a very handy placement cell makes MIT-WPU one of the best engineering colleges in Pune.
Critical thinking and practical learning is how academics are conducted here.
University location is so well that all parts of Pune City are connected via city bus and metro.

Dislikes

Still ranks into tier-2 private university.

At MITWPU a lot of vested interest is shown by large IT names like Google, Oracle, NVIDIA and Infosys to name just some. Over 100 IT names and startups which are on the verge of becoming a multi million dollar enterprises are the ones which comes and takes students from here.

My experience of MIT WPU as a final year student

Likes

The collage has one of the best infrastructure, will well maintained campus. Wi-Fi access throughout the campus, cantine all arounf the campus.
Collage has well connected transportation with bus, metro, cap access though out the day, additionally food vendors, hostel, pg are really close to collage and there are hundreds of them.
Infrastruceture is pretty good with well main tended labs and classrooms.

Dislikes

Need to improve placement as students are facing issues in getting into reputed comapnies
Need to improve faculty and course curriculum, some of the subjects are outdated and some are unnecessary

Placement Experience:

Placement starts in the last year; depending on the course, it may start in the last year first or last year second sem. And major companies coming for placements are Tata TCS, Cisco, Deloitte, Tech Mahindra, Google, Microsoft, etc. You can see the list of companies on collage website they are pretty accurate what they have mentioned.

Life At MIT WPU

Likes

The campus, Its huge which can almost fit a whole city in it and also the faculties provided by the University
The placement assistance and also the top level companies which offer internships and placements
The sports complex which provides excellent sports facilities to all the students

Dislikes

The 80% attendence which is a bit excessive compared to other Universities which require only around 70 or so
Some mandatory events to attend which require credits
Attendence wont be considered even if we had a medical leave

Placement Experience:

The students are eligible to start with the internships from around 4th semesters and the actual placements for the job are after the completion of the course. The companies like Delloite, Jp Morgan, IKEA, etc have made visits. The highest package offered for BBA was 11LPA and the average being around 5-7 LPA

Everything you should know about MIT-WPU

Likes

The overall environment of the campus and facilities provided are Top Notch .
The crowd is is very good .Intake is also not a lot
The exposure you get as there are many events, clubs, and fir placement also many companies come.

Dislikes

There are very less sports opportunities .

4th Year student are eligible for Placement. The placement percentage in our college is about 100% and as of Internship from 3rd year 5th sem students can Apply for internships and in 4th year 6months internship is compulsory for everybody. Internship and placement are provided by the college to all those who are eligible.

A Vibrant Campus Life Blend With Tech & Creativity

Likes

The diversity of learning process with quality education system
Experienced faculties with vast knowledge about the industries
Meeting with industry leaders through various seminars and training programmes

Dislikes

International students often get harassed by the local students
Placements are average. Need to bring mid level product companies with higher LPA
In some cases the curriculum are still outdated in some areas and need to improve that. Also need to improve the quality of visiting faculties

The placement opportunity is great, but you have to maintain a good grade with zero backlogs. The campus placement cell offers multiple opportunities, but mostly students from the Engineering department got the highest LPA rather than other specialisations.

Clg provides an opportunity to dive deep into subjects of intrest
Offers a supportive environment of academic & growth
Easy admission process and supporting staff

Dislikes

I did not able to visit college on daily basis
Overall good about my college did not found any dislikes

Course Curriculum Overview:

I had rate the course curriculum and 9.5 out of 10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness. The program covered most of the essential topics in the field and the faculty did a great job of explaining concept etc .

The Mit Review

Likes

the infrastructure is very nice the buildings are well designed
the faculties are also all educated and are friendly
the boys girl ratio is also pretty good almost equal in class

Dislikes

the attendance policy you have to maintain 80 percent attendance
the hostel facilities the hostel for boys is 11 km away from the college
the nature of the staff working as cleaning staff they have unneccesary attitude

Placement Experience:

yes pplacements are offered many companies come and hire from this college the average package is around 7 lpa but it is incresaing every and placement percentage is around 80 and it is also increasing with time

Campus is very good. So many trees are there in campus.
Staff of college is so supportive and always ready too help us

Dislikes

Food of canteen. They don't Cook good food
Cost of foods in canteen was also so high

My friend suggested me too choose Blockchain technology because it is new technology which has so much strong Carrier options in future and my dream was too go in foreign for job and Blockchain technology will help me too get job there easily

Great College ever

Likes

Campus is too good, every facility you will get in college.
There is Advanced Laboratories for every departments and all the machines are maintained and every student gets the hands on experience on every equipment.
College conducts lots of events and every one gets chance to participate.

Dislikes

Less internship opportunities are there.
College fees is higher if we compare with another private institutes.

Placement Experience:

From B.Tech students eligible after 7th semester. Lots of companies visits during placement. Average package is 4.5 LPA 70% students getting placements in college. I am doing job after completing my masters degree.

NOW COME TO THE PLACEMENT RATIO ITS VARIES EVERY YEAR BUT OVERALL ITS PRETTY GOOD
