Course Curriculum Overview

4

There are some courses that only MIT WPU offers. Cse with AIDS is a course i saw only in mit. The course is very well designed and covers the concepts needed for the industry really well. It is also well updated for all the skills you ACTUALLY need for job placements.

Internships Opportunities

3

Alot of the clubs are well connecter with companies and offer internship opportunities if you pass the skillset test. The college also offers alot of opportunities to get internships but its all a matter if you want to jump on the chances given to you.

Placement Experience

3

Placements are usually pretty average of 7-10LPA and usually students with CGPA of 7-9 sit for the campus placements. I would say around 40% students get placed decently. If no campus placement, the course is so diverse that you can easily get jobs if you have the skills.

Fees and Financial Aid

The full fees for my course is 3.6L for a year. I come under the CIWG category so I get a 50% scholarship so I pay 1.8L. You simply need to be an NRI Gulf kid and score more than 50% in boards and that is it. I need a cgpa of 6+ to maintain the scholarship. There is 25000 registration fees at the time i was taking admission. For scholarship, Students from PIO category get 10-20% scholarship and you can also get a merit based scholarship on the basis of your JEE or MHCET scores.

Campus Life

4

the campus life is very vibrant and fun. We have alot of events and festivals that are celebrated in the campus. There are alot of student groups who organise these events and they are really fun to go to. We have events like aarohan which is the biggest event in mit. Alot of singers and performers come and perform and its a really fun experience .

Hostel Facilities

1

The hostel is very bad. the rooms are very average and the price is very high. The hostel staff is extremely imprudent and thoughtless and they DO NOT CARE. the food is also not the best. The location is also like 30 minutes away from campus. For the price you pay, it is much better to shift in a Flat or PG.

Admission

I applied to BIT mesra , SRM chennai and NIRMA university. I mainly chose mit because of the location and the affordability. This campus is in main city and pune is a well developed city. The college offers opportunities for hackathons and events that other colleges usually dont do as good as mit.

Faculty

3

For Labs we have like 20 students and 1 teacher and for lectures we have around 60 students and 1 teacher. Faculties are usually really sweet but sometimes they do bias marathi students more but its not that often. The exams are a little bit on the difficult side but its nothing you cant achieve with regular studying. The course is well designed and updated for the current industry. Alot of students do get backlog in exams.

Night Life

4

The library is really good. We have alot of spots for enjoying and hanging out as well. The tekdi behind the globe is also really famous. The best spot would prolly be the main road where you can sit on the sides with your friends and look at the people going. The campus is also really safe no matter what the time is.

7th semester or 4th year makes you eligible for internships and placements. NVIDIA visits our college often i don't know much about the placements as im only in first year but yes the eligibility for the placement is over CGPA which eliminates a lot of students during the placements nearly ~75% of the students get placed (including off and in campus) the other 20% pursue higher studies the other 5% go for start ups

Campus placement has good rate. Most of the students passing out get in-campus placements and some of them go abroad for higher education. The average package here is around 700000 to 800000. Very much reliable in placement perspective.
