MIT-SOB PGDM Courses

MIT SOB offers Postgraduate Diploma in Management with different specializations. They are:

The eligibility criteria for all the courses is Graduation degree with aggregate 50% marks.

MIT-SOB PGDM Admission

The Institute offers a two-year PGDM (Postgraduate Diploma in Management) program in four specializations viz, General Management, Human Resource, Finance and Marketing to the candidates. The total student’s intake is 360 (inclusive of all four specializations). The basic qualification to apply is Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University /Institute with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. The selection of candidates is based on the valid score obtained in CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ ATMA/ CMAT entrance exam. The final selection of students will be based on the performance in Essay Writing, Extempore, and Personal Interview round.

Applicants will be assessed on the percentage scale of 100% -

Entrance Test Scores – 30%
Personal Interview – 26%
Essay Writing and Extempore – 23%
Academic Background – 16%
Work Experience – 5%

Ans. There is not much difference in both the courses. Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Postgraduate Diploma in Management (PGDM).

The fee structure for both vary with a difference.
MBA is a degree while PGDM is a diploma.
Duration for both is the same.

Ques. What are the documents required at the time of admission?

Ans. Documents required at the time of admission are:

10^th, 12^th and Graduation mark sheets (up to previous year if you are a final year student).
Copies of scorecard of either of CAT/MAT/XAT/ATMA/CMAT/CET directly submitted on selection process date if you are applying before declaration of result.

Ques. What is the application fee at MITSOB?

Ans. The application fee at MITSOB is INR 900. Applicants may pay this amount in cash or by DD drawn in favor of MIT School of Business.

Ques. Do MIT School of Business offer an MBA?

Ans. No, MIT School of Business does not offer any MBA program. It offers only a Postgraduate diploma in four specializations.
