MIT- WPU Pune Scholarship is awarded to eligible students on a First Come First Serve basis and is adjusted in the fees. To continue the scholarship, the student must maintain a minimum CGPA of 6 and above throughout all semesters of every year with no backlogs and no semester break. The students must also maintain a minimum attendance of 80% per semester except for a few emergencies.

MIT-WPU Pune Scholarships

MIT-WPU Pune offers various Merit Scholarships to deserving students in the form of fee waivers/ concessions. The various categories of MIT-WPU Pune Scholarships are as follows:

Dr. Vishwanath Karad Merit Scholarship: This scholarship provides a 100% waiver on the tuition fees for the entire duration of the program to the top 3% of the total students’ intake.
MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship-I: This scholarship offers a 50% fee waiver for the entire duration of the program and is applicable for 8% of the total students’ intake.
MIT-WPU Merit Scholarship-II: This scholarship offers a 25% fee waiver for the entire duration of the program and is applicable for 12% of the total students’ intake.
Scholarships to Elite Sportsperson: It is awarded to deserving sports persons based on their participation/winning the prizes at Nationally/Internationally recognized sports competitions/events.
Hon’ble Sri. T N Seshan Scholarship: This special scholarship is provided to candidates admitted to the School of Government which amounts to 15% of the program fee.
International Scholarship: This scholarship is offered for candidates from the CIWGC/ CIWSEA/ SAARC Countries, African/ NON-SAARC Countries, and OCI/ NRI Candidates.
- Candidates of foreign nationality with 85% & above academic scores in Diploma / X / XII / Graduation are eligible to receive a 100% scholarship.
- Under the Foreign Nationals quota, only 1 Seat per programme for every country will be allotted based on the merit of the eligible candidate seeking admission.
- For all international candidates, 50% of the fee waiver will be awarded by MIT- WPU Pune in the form of a scholarship.
- All scholarships will be awarded ON FIRST COME FIRST SERVE basis.
- For the continuation of the scholarship, academic performance & attendance should be maintained throughout all semesters of every year.

You simply need to be an NRI Gulf kid and score more than 50% in boards and that is it. I need a cgpa of 6+ to maintain the scholarship. There is 25000 registration fees at the time i was taking admission. For scholarship, Students from PIO category get 10-20% scholarship and you can also get a merit based scholarship on the basis of your JEE or MHCET scores.

My experience of MIT WPU as a final year student

Fees and Financial Aid:

The fees for my program are around ? 1 lakh per annum, and my complete course is of 3 years, so that's ? 3 lakh, excluding hostel, mess, and other expenses. The only thing you can get for a fee concession is a scholarship based on your marks per annum and competitive exam score, and this scholarship can vary from 10% to 100%. There is no difference in fees except for the scholarship. Tution fees are 20k, caution fees are 10, registration fees are 5k, admission is not applicable, development fee is 50k and the remaining 15k. No category for st/sc things like that.
