Course Curriculum Overview

In 4 years of graduation there are 8 semester exam and 16 sessional exam in which you have to give a lot of assignment and project file for completion which is considered as a waste of time . In my view, Less assignment are given to students so that they work on their skill

Faculty

Faculty members are supportive and encouraging us for studying but you have to talk with them in a good way . There are two sessional exam or mid term exam are conducted for each semester . In semester you to score more than 40 percentage of total marks

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:5. The faculties are very approachable. They answer all the queries of the students. But the focus is only on finishing the syllabus. So, any out-of-the syllabus questions from studets are not encouraged. There are regular exams in every two months. The exams are moderate to difficult. You have to appear for both theoratical and practical examanination. The results are not shown which is a drawback. The question paper is also not given to the students. The current course-curriculum does not fully reflect the latest trends and advancements. The course also lacks practical exposure. The module topics are relevant but they should also include real time projects.

Course Curriculum Overview

The syllabus is eye-catchy. It has all the trendy topics such as Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe Photoshop, SEO, SMM, Google Analytics etc. I dont think the curriculum prepares us for real-world applications. The course only gives merely an introduction of the latest tools and trends. You surely get familier with all the practical purposes of the digital marketing but you lack exposure. The course-curriculum should be more advanced. The exams are happening every 2 months, even if the students have doubts. So, I think there should be more sessions for doubt clearing.

Fees and Financial Aid

I'm a student in VIT university Bhopal. I'm paying an annual fees of 2 lakhs pr year as tuition fees and beside that 2.15 lakh as hostel fees. I got CSE branch in VIT in category 1st . However many of my friends are paying 4 to 5 lakh for the same course here andalso the hostel fees. VIT doesn't provides any such merit based scolarship . Your rank in VITEEE exam devides your academic fees which will vary in between 2 lakhs to 5 lakhs for all kind of courses.

Course Curriculum Overview

VIT is known for its placement and strictness for discipline for which i joined this college. But joining this university i can say that the reality doesn't match with the hype created. We have lab classes and certain clubs that help us develop. We also get chance to participate in hackathons that help us to prepare for real life problems. I'm a fresher so i don't know more about Curriculum but i know that its hard to score well i exams

Campus Life

There used to Annual Fest called Zenith. It was average festival and unknown bands and musicians used to come there. SInce the college has no campus so it used to be held in a small college area. The Library was well stacked with legal books and daily newspapers and each semester books were issued to us by the college only. There was projector in every class and the class was taught through PPTs. There were activitise like LAN gaming and Table tennis, Chess, etc. were conducted every semester, activities like treasure hunt and Gas-less cooking were also there. The overall experience was average due to limited college space. I was a part of Nukkad Natak and it created awareness among the college and outside college as well.

Faculty

1:60 was the faculty to student ratio, the faculty and student relationshop was approachable and friendly but the staff used to change after every semester and the faculty that was not even good used to stay for an entire semster even though their teachings and methods were not effective. My favourite faculty was Ms. Rashi Gupta who taught us COntract, and Civil Law and she was so methodical and practical, every lesson I took with her was memorable and helpful. The exams were not difficult and every thing that was on the syllabus was taught to us and nothing out of syllabus came in exams.

1. Faculty to student ratio for M.Sc. Physics course was 1 teacher for 5 students. Faculty was easily approachable. Anyone can connect with them anytime. They were ready to help. 2. I liked most Dr. Dheeraj Kumar, who was my mentor for research project as well. His understanding on the subject is amazing. He is a great teacher and mentor as well. I learned alot from him. 3. All faculty members were more like friends. I did not get into any scenario which leads to dislike of the faculty member. 4. I someone is taking lectures regulary then exam are not difficult for that student.

Campus Life

1. I was in covid batch, so i don't have much idea about that. Ther were no fests because of guideline. 2. There is a huge library name Nalanda, which is consisted of thousands of books. 3. There were proper facilities like projector which leads to great learning experience. 4. As i mentioned i was in covud batch, so there were not much sports activities because of guidelines. 5. There were groups who was running potals for collecting donation for people in need.

Faculty

Faculty to student ratio is good enough as they clear our doubt whenever we go to them . They are approachable all the time as there is another department for doubt clearing . Mayank Aggrawal sir who is the HOD of CSE department i like most as he helps every student in programmig and solving problem related to it . I don't like suyansh bhardwaj sir he always gives lecture even he is not teaching any core subject to us . Exams are there taken in the month of may and december . 1st Sessional , 2nd sessional and two semester exam in a year . every students easily clear the exam even though few students get failed in some papers like maths and electronics .

Campus Life

B.Pharm is a well approved professional course so i approach for it. The college environment is not so good as it can be and it is also far from the city. Sessional examination held twice or thrice in 4to5 months and at the end of 6 months final semester papers willbe held and it has moderate level paper pattern.

Campus Life

Festivals are celebrated in college campus. The library has sufficient books which allows students to gain knowledge. The classrooms have digital classes. Sports day is also held every year in november. Only college social media is run by teachers.

The Course structure was of 10 semesters and constituted from lower level of understanding to higher level and the specialisation was introduced during the 3 rd year. In a sem there are only 2 written exams one mid term and the other end term. And along with that there are certain presentations also. Faculty members were really good and supportive. They are a mix of young and experienced professors

Fees and Financial Aid

KiiT is a very good college and has a great infrastructure facility. You will get a good library and a fantastic environment. The hostels are quite clean. The teachers and professors are quite friendly. Young professors help in a better understanding and use modern tool to integrate along with education. The only thing that is a matter of concern is waterlogging or else everything is upto the mark.

Placement Experience

The college has an overall good amount of placements and there is a dedicated training and placement cell who looks after the placements of the students. The T&P cell not only brings placement but also makes students placement ready by arranging well versed Industry training session for Aptitude test. The no of companies which come to college for recruitment are 100+ . Most of the Computer science and IT students are placed and have an average package of 6 LPA While the EXTC Dept has an average package of 3LPA and the average package for Mechanical Dept is 4.5 LPA

Faculty

The overall faculty to student ratio is 1: 10 the students have a good relationship with the dept teachers, for those who are study geeks the college faculty still uses the traditional method of 75% attendance rule, while the teachers overall finish more than 50% of the syllabus for the semester exams. The IA exams are held by the college itself , while the ESE ie the end semester exams are held by the University of Mumbai

Course Curriculum Overview

I have always wondered to eat what's on your plate. In DU, most students dont get their desired branch but get what's available. Sociology to me was that and initially I had some doubts as I was getting some lower ranked colleges but then JMC was a dream and so I opted sociology as it was the only bench available as per my scores.

Faculty

Faculties of our college has one currency and that is outstanding teaching. So when teaching is not just currency but a passion good things are bound to happen not just to them but students as well. So, if want to know how to deliver on all front, they should have some classes under our faculties as they will teach them this.

Placement Experience

From semester 6 onwards the students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies like meesho, myntra, morgan stanley, wipro, tata, Infosys and many other tier 1 companies visit here. Both mass hiring and product companies hire students from here. The highest package for 2025-26 has been 56 lpa as of now and avg package is around 21-30 lpa. Last year for 2024-25 batch students, the percentage was between 75-80. My plan is to get into a product company after completing my btech.

Fees and Financial Aid

For four years, my tuition fees is 198000 while my hostel fees will be around 200000. The caution fees for both academic and hostel is around 18000. My friends have taken admission in category 1,2,3,4 and 5. The tuition fees vary for different categories. For category 1, one has to pay 198000, for category 2 it is 307000, for category 3 it is around 4,02000, for category 4 it is around 4,78000 and for category 5 it is over 500000.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees for my program are around ? 1 lakh per annum, and my complete course is of 3 years, so that's ? 3 lakh, excluding hostel, mess, and other expenses. The only thing you can get for a fee concession is a scholarship based on your marks per annum and competitive exam score, and this scholarship can vary from 10% to 100%. There is no difference in fees except for the scholarship. Tution fees are 20k, caution fees are 10, registration fees are 5k, admission is not applicable, development fee is 50k and the remaining 15k. No category for st/sc things like that.

Faculty

The faculty-to-student ratio is decent, 1 faculty per 50 students. The relationship between faculty and students depends teacher to teachers; some are good, some need to improve, but they never say no if you approach them for some help. I can't name them as it may affect their teaching motivation, but some faculty members need to improve. There are 2 exams per semester, one is the midterm and one is the end exam. The midterm is 20 marks, and end term is 40 marks, and the remaining is the assignment and project. These marks may vary as per subjects.

Fees and Financial Aid

Initially, my fees in the first year was around ?16,000, but apparently in the third year, it has increased to ?21,000. I would say that every year the fees is hiking by ?2000 at least. And the reason they give for this is that they are increasing the infrastructure and lab equipments so that is why the pieces hiking up but apart from this there is no other expenditure. You have except that for each semester exam, you have to pay some amount like ?1000 to ?1500 to sit in the examination. And the economically weaker sections do have some kind of fees relief after they have submitted their proof.

Faculty

The faculty I would say of all the courses are amazing. They are all PhD holders from reputed institutions and very well cooperative. Faculty very approachable, you can go to them for your career advice. Internship advice even personal solutions. This continuous assessment and one internal paper, every semester as well as the final paper for each semester. Very made and very relevant to the course curriculum, only very rarely all student score back or either. It is easy to clear the exam.

The faculty count in the entire college is around 400 where as the number of students is approximately 5000, the faculty student interations are not difficult to initiate and they are always there for you when u want something cleared,i like my programming ma'am her name is beulah rani, she is great at making u understand difficult topics easily and is quite funny at that,i dont like Dr.psrn he's so arrogant and boderline a bully sometimes i feel, there are 3 exams 2 mid exams of marks 30 and 1 semester exam marks 100.the exams are appropriately difficult and the fail rate isnt that high all things considered, the curriculum is not relevant to current industry standards but to be fair niether are any of the indian curriculums.

Campus Life

There is an annual fest that takes place every year and tech work shops are conducted every few months ,the library is like heaven for anyone looking to diversify their knowledge into any field ,the jounal shelf is regularly updated with upto date journals, the classrooms incorporate both blackboard and a projecter based learning ,the sports complex within the college offers a gym and many game equipments like volley ball basket ball and so on.
