Delhi Metropolitan Education (DME), an affiliation of GGSIPU, is a premier educational institute offering Undergraduate courses such as BA JMC, BBA, BA & BBA LLB. Admission to the college is entrance-based. The accepted entrance exams for admission are CLAT and IPUCET. The students must apply online for admission. The minimum eligibility for admission is 50% aggregate marks in 10+2 in any stream. In addition to this, the highest package is offered at 10 LPA whereas the average package is offered at INR 6.25 LPA. DME Admission

Delhi Metropolitan Education grants admission to the candidates on the basis of the minimum eligibility criterion along with the online and transparent counseling media. 90% of the total intake in the particular course is filled through university counseling and 10% of seats are filled through management quota. Moreover, 85% of the seats from the university counseling are reserved for the candidates belonging to Delhi only while the rest 5% of the seats are available for all the other state candidates.

The eligibility criteria vary from course to course:

BBA: 10+2 in any stream with a valid score in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
BA (Journalism and Mass Communication): 10+2 in any stream with a valid score in Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University.
BA & BBA LLB: 10+2 in any stream with a valid score in Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

How to Apply?

Candidates need to register themselves as a candidate through the university’s official website (www.ipu.ac.in).
For Management quota seats, candidates can apply at info@dme.ac.in or, can contact in person at the campus once the admissions process commences and is notified.
At the time of registration, candidates need to be very careful while filling in the details.
Application fees need to be paid by the candidates which can be done online or, by the offline method as well.
After filling out the online application form, the college releases the merit list of the candidates which is primarily based on the scores in the entrance exam and intermediate education.
If the candidate manages to acquire a seat in the college then, he/she needs to visit the campus physically on the pre-specified date to report with the set of documents.

DME Facilities

College is equipped with all the necessary and sufficient amenities on its campus. There are accommodation facilities available on campus for boys, girls and staff members. To keep the mind and body fit as per the nourishing nature sports ground is available within the campus. For refreshment and appetite, the canteen is available. For good and effective learning IT infrastructure and well-equipped classrooms are available.

Hostel- College has hostels facilities for boys and girls both with all the in-house facilities such as mess, wi-fi, power backup,
Rabindranath Tagore Library- The college provides library facilities to those students. The library is facilitated with all the course-related books, journals, and soft media also which can easily be accessed by the candidates on showing the library card issued by the college.
Internet & Wi-Fi- Fast-speed internet is easily available at each corner of the college and hostels as well.
Power Backup- College is equipped with an in-house power facility so that in case of any power failure for the electricity board, no work would be stopped.

The college has a vast team of faculty members who are present all the time for enhancing the skills of the candidates and supporting them morally. There are in total 84 faculty members across the four streams in the college. The team of faculties includes Dean, Principal, Head of Departments, Professors and, Assistant Professors. Infrastructure looks like White House or Some Roman Infra that looks really good
Canteen is make really well with mirrors and gives an aesthetic look
Amphitheater is with college and it is quite a great space to sit down with friends especially in winters

No sports ground inside the college where students can practice for sports societies
75% attendance is mandatory in order not to get debarred from internal exams

Why students choose this course?

I really wanted to do MBA after BBA, that is one of the main reason for choosing this Course as it is an important base for MBA, BBA really helps a person increase this confidence and many other things that can help a lot in masters. 2 semesters take place in a year i.e. a sixth month break approx

Internship opportunities provided by the college

I as a 3rd sem student i don't have a too much idea on this topic but our college provides internships to students which is basically sales internship in which we need to sell some products through calls or something that lasts for 2 months, and it is compulsory to do internships whether outside the college or internship from college itself to gain credits and gain your degree

Placement scenario of the campus and average package being offered

From the 5th sem students are eligible for placements and placemmets cell plays a really important role in this, Avg salary provided is 4 lacs per annum, % of students placed is not so good in this college approx 25 - 30% students are places every year Even i won't select placements as i am having my own plans for MBA

Fees of the course per year and scholarship available across the campus

For the first year i was charged 1.45 lacks in which it included 27k for VAC (Value Added Course) and other material that is provided by college and is really necessary for example Dress that included Hoodie, Shirt, T-Shirt, Coat, and many other materials such as Bag, Pens, Keychains, Water Bottles that were all will DME Logo. The bottle they provided was a digital bottle, 2nd year fees is around 1,03,000 and 3rd year fees is around 1,02,500 or so , Currently i am in 2nd year so i don't have that much accurate information about 3rd year fees but they also provide scholarships for students expecially for those who excel in studies...

Students view on campus life

There are multiple fests that are held for example Diwali fest it is one of the main fest that is held in this college and it also provided different dress themes for this for example for diwali ethnic dress code all boys need to wear kurta pyjama and girls can wear anything they wish in ethnic code. Main fest is ALOHA, this is an annual fest with western dress code / theme and is really fun to attend with all students in many fest they all provide DJ nights in which students can attend the fest till 7 pm for DJ night and enjoy

Students view on faculties

This college consists of all female teachers and 0 male teachers ( excluding VAC ), and one teacher handle around 60 students in a class, Faculty are really approachable and we can reach out to them anytime we want they even have psychiatrist in college for any issues you can even contact them

How to get admission in the college?

I didn't got that much of a better rank that would help in getting other college other that Delhi metropolitan education, but this all depends on common entrance test ranking that is done through ggsipu (Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University)

Night Life

Our college does not provide any hostel facility for any student and we can't enter the premises after 4 or 5 pm at any cost They don't have any such place for hanging out outside college there you can visit tea stalls and chill with friends roam around can do chit chat

Interior of the collage and the crowd is so well

I applied for symbiosis college other than this college. Though i wasnt able to get admission in that college and this college is close to my home and that is the reason i have chosen this college . The college takes students on the basis of the CLAT exam

Campus is too small, no ground in the college it is far away

In ggsipu I first got jims Vasant Kunj college which is actually far away from my place and the distance between metro and college was alot, I found it so hectic to travel daily and also realised it is only possible if I've my own vehicle. Then I got Trinity institute of professional studies but that was something I didn't liked at all by infrastructure because it is too small just like a building but the quality of education is also very good there and distance between metro and college is just walking distance.. Then at last I came across DME and choosed it as I found it good at various aspects. The admission process here is very easy, there are people who'll guide you at each and every step.

No ground is there. Sports even take place outside.
Campus is ver short. Nothing like ggsipu main campus.

There is almost equal ratio of girls and boys

Library is only opened it 5 pm and off on sunday
Less fests oraganized in college, sports fest is also organised somewhere else
Campus is too small and no place to hang out with friends

I got this college according to my rank in clat exam. The area where this college is in noida sec 62, is a. Developed industrial area, though not safe at night for girls. Once i got admission i came to college to complete all the formalities and pay the remaining anount

Bullying is strictly prohibited here, very good environment.
The crowd is good as compared to many other colleges.

Dislikes

The campus is a little smaller than expected.

I had applied to many other ip and du colleges but I chose this one due to proximity to my house, as it is nearby and has a safe location. It only takes me 15 minutes to reach. And it is very aesthetic from the outside.

If you want to participate in sports in college you cant do it in this college but if you want to study and all this college is good for it
There is quiet nothing to dislike about but it doesn't have sports activities in the campus
Doesn't have a play ground too if you take

I took a direct admission in it from cuet base not from counseling so i just went there and done some registration and submitted my documents up and photos i would suggest you to visit the college then talk about admission from them only its not time consuming if you have all documents with you 10 marksheet, 12th marksheet ,migration certificate, character certificate(not more than 6 months old), Affadavit if you took a drop if you took a drop then you have to make Affadavit of character certificate too and an Affadavit of gap year too adhar card of mother and father your adhar card 10 photos

Can anyone get admission with out any exam in DME ? What is the fees of BA LLB in DME? Does NLU accept Clat exam? What is the cutoff of NLU Delhi? What is the total fees of BA LLB in NLU? How many college in delhi offers BA LLB without entrane exam?
