Remarks

There is no negative news about this college, everything is best here. Few points on aiims -*College management is also perfect. *Faculty members never tried to shun their responsibilities with respect to teaching, research and patient care. Senior students were required to teach their juniors on a regular basis, even in OT's (operation theatre). *Get together were organised during celebrations of important festivals which included admitted patients. All religions were given importance.

Entrance Preview

AIIMS entrance exam, I scored 181 marks out of 200 in 2015. I opted this college because i want to do Mbbs course at cheap cost and best quality education with fantastic campus, and all this met accurately with this college, this college is rated #1 all over India for its best campus and good quality education.

Course Curriculum Overview

5

I'm the first year student of 4.5 years scheduled programme of Mbbs. According to my seniors with respect to research this college is the best. Other colleges takes 5 years to complete this course but here is a 4.5 year programme with definite placement.

Internships Opportunities

Not now, as I'm in the first year here. But according to my seniors college provides some internship from second year for medical practices in Aiims at different places in India.

Placement Experience

5

Placement is confirm. As you do only mbbs you will get packages nearly 5-10 lacs per year but it raises very high if you do specialisation in any field or after postgraduation in a particular field. Further packages depends on the postgraduate courses you choose, is you choose neuro surgery or neurology or cardiology packages are higher than physiology, anasthesiology, pharmacology and other branches.

College Events

5

Current events are as following - 1.Dr. R.P.Centre Golden Jubilee Year (2016-2017)-Workshop Calendar.Previous events include pulse in the year 2015, battle of bash, process of the year, fash- ramp rage, etc. More about pulse 2k15 - Pulse is the life sustaining rhythm that keeps us all on. We the students of AIIMS present PULSE 2015, the largest socio-cultural-literary-sports festival of medical fraternity in South-East Asia. With 42 years of experience behind it, Pulse has transformed itself into

Fee Structure And Facilities

Here I am giving the AIIMS Fee Structure for MBBS provided by aiims India:Registration FeeRs. 25.00 + Hostel RentRs. 990.00Caution MoneyRs. 100.00 + Gymkhana FeeRs. 220.00tuition FeeRs. 1350.00 + Pot FundRs. 1320.00Laboratory FeeRs. 90.00 + Electricity ChargesRs. 198.00Students Union FeeRs. 63.00 + Mess SecurityRs. 500.00 (Refundable)+ Hostel Security Rs.1000.00 (Refundable)TotalRs. 1628.00 + TotalRs. 4228.00

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally all for SC/ST students, but you really don't need any scholarship here as all the facilities are very very cheap here. All you need to do is to get a seat here, and you really don't need any scholarship. But here is an AIIMSONIAN scholarship available for students as- The selected candidates under the AIIMSONIANS Merit cum Means scholarship would be provided with an amount of Rs. Ten Thousand (10,000/-) per annum.

Campus Life

5

I still remember the day; I stepped on the land, which I had been dreaming of, for the past two years. It seemed like a paradise to my eyes, which were tired by the toil of those two hard years, but the tears in them kept saying 'Man! IT WAS WORTH IT. Everything I sacrificed, the fun, the food, itwas worth all. The overwhelming sense of your biggest dream, your sole aim is coming true, right in front of your eyes. The sense of gratefulness, for being accepted amongthe elites, is so high that the feeling is impossible to express in words. Nevertheless, I will give it a try.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

Gymkhana FeeMess SecurityRs. 500.00 (Refundable)As you can see that all this facilities are very cheap in cost even Hostel facilities and mess facilities are best even at this cheap cost. I don't know about the pg facilities as i mentioned earlier that I'm the first year student. There are 4 college canteens, and 4 other private canteens, where you can have proper meals and quick snacks, all of which is invariably tasty. Apartfrom these there are many coffee shacks, and fastfood joints, spread over the campus. So where youare, you always be able to spot a place to grab a quick bite. One of the canteens is the Hostel messwhere you can pay on a daily basis or they can keep an account on your name and you must settle the bill at the end of every month. So you might expect spending around Rs.1500 a month on food. All

Alumni/Alumna

Yes they are helpful and ragging is also banned here. Others have to give exam and interview, but AIIMS MD students are internally selected ( told by a medicine JR to me) Aiims is really the best college of India. Here dreams come true. Seniors are really helpful and role models of juniors.

Exam Structure

Entrance exams are tougher if you read or practice only cbse ncert books but in order to crack the entrance exams you need the deep and thorough knowledge. And college exams are also high level examinations and for this you have to spend most of your time with books and practical knowledge is also most important.

Faculty

5

All faculties are as expected, highly qualified, and every time available for the students to clear their doubts, more interested than students to teach, highly digitalised and advanced, uses all the new technologies, slightly strict for some students but good for toppers. Here faculties always promote students to do their best and highly focuses on each and every student, clear their problems and friendly with them. All faculties are best standard and qualified. They have really a very deep knowledge, a very high intellect and always alert mindset. I'm very happy from this college and especially from faculties. They don't get angry over the mistakes of us but involve in our problem and clears in a very friendly manner. All medical practices are teacher here very prominently, i'm really good at medical practices here because of perfect faculties.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The MBBS curriculum is mostly standard, but its relevance is super high because of the massive patient load at SJH. That clinical exposure is the key thing that prepares you for both real life and NEET PG later—that’s why I chose VMMC. Improvements? We need less lecturing and more interactive case discussions and maybe more emphasis on research. Exams are non-stop, seriously! We have internals/semester exams every 3-4 months. They are tough (50% passing), but they force you to study well for the final big Proffs. It’s tiring, but it works.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is very well structured and includes detailed study of all the aspects of medicine which is very relevant in today's world. Since mbbs curriculum is more about practical and less about theory we get a really good patient exposure which makes us ready to deal with patient problems in real life. The course curriculum can be made a little less hectic as in fourth year there are 11 subjects to cover so they can be distributed equally in all the other years and teaching methods can be made more interactive instead of professors just reading the slides monotonously

Curriculum of mbbs is very comprehensive and makes you capable of handling medical emergencies, and not miss out on diagnosing critical cases. With the new CBME curriculum by nmc in place, additional focus is also given on the AETCOM (attitude, ethics and communication) module which is aimed at improving the quality of healthcare professionals produced by this country.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is decided by the NMC therefore it is same for all of the doctors. Our college has a good clinical exposure and thus we learn a lot. The course prepares you well, but you always have to learn by yourself. In the area of clinical expertise the treatment of common disease must be taught separately. We have exams Nearly every 3 months, which can be tough to manage, considering that you have to score an average of more than 50% in them . Difficulty level is intermediate
