experience of my college, now turned into my second home

The campus is spacious and well maintained, the hostels are excellent and affordable , and the students enjoy a good amount of freedom and autonomy , which is important for both both personal and academic growth.
The faculty is highly qualified. and the teaching style is engaging and clear. Professors are approachable and supportive.
The infrastructure is excellent- especially the classrooms, which are large , well-ventilated na fair-conditioned.. the curriculum is well strict and relevant.

Dislikes

That said, everything is not perfect. The mess food and water quality definitely needs improvement .
Cleanliness and hygiene needs to be improved.
As for the gender ratio, it’s roughly around 35 girls to 97 boys which is quite skewed , but seems to be gradually improving with newer batches .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course and curriculum is very relevant with respect to the real life world. Medicine as a field is completely applied on real life patients and to cure them . This was the main aspect which motivated me to choose this course as I get to experience everything practically.

AIIMS medicos dream

Likes

The experience of environment is too too good
The college is really good discipline wise
Teachers are too good here very experienced and on hand experience also

Dislikes

Very long time of course and no earning till last semester
Even after that long time and money we spend we get low stipend
Other things are good but we should have more working experience included as our curriculum because thats we have to do at last

Our stipend should be increased because after first semester we are always helping our seniors and doctors working as nurses we deserve that at least from our third semester all though i would say there is nothing that could be a reason that one should not choose it as there college because only one doing hard work can get that as their life changing college its a great college

Likes

Teacher are very knowledgeable and provide effective knowledge to us
Exam are held regularly in a unit way it's a good way to learn things
Cover syllabus within time duration .it provides sufficient time for revision

Dislikes

There is no time for personal life and enjoyment
We don't got proper vacation according to our working hours
Working hours are more it becomes a hectic for us

Interaction with pateint and provide health education them influence me to choose this course . There is high number or real world applications Working hours of this course should be reduced. Level of exam is moderate

My college provide clinical posting in all departments like surgery,OT,neuro,cardio
Teachers are very experienced (associate professor,tutor)
My college campus is very peaceful area,, security also active..bus facility also available....

Dislikes

Word load is very high,, time is less for personal works .
Assignment are more ,, which give stresfull condition
We are suffering with launguage barrier,,less vacation

My college provide best clinical experience
I got best teaching pattern and best teacher
I feel very secure in my college and campus

Dislikes

In our college work load is very high and stress Full
Teachers gave lots of assignment and test paper
Poor time management and less joyful life due to stress Full schedule of our college

Campus life unveiled : A review of AIIMS DELHI

Likes

The total area of aiims delhi campus is with well maintained colleges buildings ,laboratories,computer laboratries library.hostel facility in aiims is very good .the campous has multiple badminton court a gym and various basketball,volleyball .
Aiims provide us many sports activites and conduct sport day. and also provide merit cum base schoolarship to the students
the infrastructure is very good it has an auditorium as well where functions of the college are conducted. and awareness research programs are also conducted their in the JLN auditorium

Dislikes

a very demanding and extensive syllabus and heavy workload.
occasionally concerned about the mess facility .
limited free time and amount of stipened is not that good

It provides a strong foundation in nursing practice with a focus on current medical advancements, making it one of the top choces for nursing education in india students often praise the well structured syllabus experienced faculty and extensive clinical exposure.

Likes

Private room is given in hostel to all students
Labs and librarys are airconditioned and well maintained
Mess is good and sanitary for the students at minimal cost

Dislikes

Some of the faculty could be more helping towards the students
The cleanliness in bathrooms can be upgraded
There could be more sports facilities which would be best

Placement Experience:

Students usually go for specialty courses and dont immediately start doing job , or they do residency which is around 6-7 years also depends course to course , in residency a person earns around 80000-90000 per month

AIIMS Delhi - The Best Medical College in India

Likes

Regarding the girls:boys ratio, it has now become good. Earlier it used to be less but now has increased. In my batch, there are 84 boys and 48 girls
The infrastructure quality and the hostel amenities are very nice. You get all the basic facilities for almost free. The campus is huge and its very good.
We get a 24/7 working library, so no worries for night owls, it is closed only on national holidays, not even on sundays.

Dislikes

Regarding academics, sometimes lectures of some professors become to boring. Here also like all MBBS colleges, we rely more on online coaching rather than college lectures.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is fine. Here they prefer to rely on standard textbooks for better knowledge. And the postings here gives you very good practice and practical knowledge. Here we get to see a lot of complex and rarer cases in the ward.

Dislikes

Stressful academic pressure: The academic workload is immense and students often report feeling overwhelmed.
Limited campus space: the campus while functional is relatively compact compared to other major universities.
Social life constraints: Given the demanding schedule students often find it hard to maintain a work life balance

Placement Experience:

AIIMS Delhi does not haveformal campus placements in the conventional sense. Instead medical students rely on internships, post MBBS employment opportunities and further academic or professional training for their career progression.
